RETIRED: Marlboro Outwit the West Funny Farm

Certainly, naive -- dishonest, never.

We have been offering our free Leather Therapy "Biker Bull" samples for the past year, and sending them out daily. The samples that we thought would last us at least 2 years flew off the shelves within a few hours when the Free Stuff websites spread the word a few days ago. I didn't even realize those sites existed! We are completely overwhelmed. There were over 70,000 hits and 21,000 requests in less than a day.

This is the very first time in our 17 years that I have had to resort to a "batch" e-mailer to handle what has become a huge logistics problem. It was necessary because there is no other way I could answer all those requests for our free samples.

We have high integrity -- both in our personal dealings and in our product line and for 17 years have held onto that ethic.

I now realize that it was foolish, and absolutely naive of me to even try to offer anything back to those people who might not receive a free sample. I have upset many people I feel and I only can try to make better decisions in the future.

Thanks for your understanding. We should be getting more samples in within a month or two. Hopefully I will handle that better.

The Camel Tins are on there last few days, I see the feeding has slowed down, Don't no how Camel is going fix this one. I feed them everyday I see that we have 3 of use here that are hanging out to-gather there, Will we make it, is camel going to do the right thing here. Will see and might just have chance, What you think .........
