a friend of mine actually crocheted a big brown domo pillow face w/ button eyes & stiched on the teeth/mouth for someone's bday. Domo is one popular stuffie!

We're going to Disney next weekend to celebrate early. We have a few things planned. We're having a candlelit dinner & a champagne brunch in our room. I also booked us an afternoon tea with champagne & dinner at a couple nice restaurants. Valentine's Day we'll have a cake for our DS's birthday, & do whatever he wants.

Last year was the first time we celebrated Valentine's Day in 19 years. We went to see a movie with bistro dining. Normally, we watch the movie in the regular theater. It was fun, because we were able to have a couple drinks, dinner, & a movie all at the same time.

For Real Estate, the beaches north of Tampa are cheaper than the adjacent beaches & going south. Unfortunately, the nicer beaches are in this area & south. There's not a lot of options going north.

I know what you mean about not using it. We bought a place in North Miami, because my DH likes the Atlantic Ocean. When we first got it, we went down every other weekend to fix it up the way we wanted it. Soon our trips became less frequent. It's been months, since we've been down there. With DH having to work, it's impossible to do everything we want. Our DS is thinking about moving down there to go to college. That would keep it from sitting empty, which is good. The utilities would cost us more, but not as much as him staying on campus.

Thanks for the info. I'm glad to see leaving a message is normal. That makes sense for the glitter. I doubt I'd go to so much effort, but I can give it to one of my nieces. The Julep order I received today had what looks like a chocolate bar. I haven't opened it to see. It's broken, so I hope it wasn't something else that would have been useful.

Just like you guys we might end up going out for dinner but we go out for dinner like 3 times a week so it wont be anything extra special for us.

I am not against v-day, I :heart : it. I basically like the idea of celebrating love and take opportunity to say that special person in my life how much he means to me. I think we all forget it and take it for granted so often, this day should not be forgotten or go as any other day but that's only my theory.

With DH's work schedule, we rarely go out to eat. By the time he gets home, we're all too tired to go out. For us, eating out is a special occasion, but I can see why it wouldn't be for people who eat out a lot. I hope you all come up with something special to do. I agree with you. I think lasting love should be celebrated.

I don't know. I'll have to ask my DH & get back to you. He likes to look at Real Estate online hoping he'll someday find the right home that will convince me to move. That's not going to happen. He should just give up.

Wow! that's pretty awesome of your friend and talented. I'm not a fan of domo so much. DBF just loves him. He even brought one of his many domos down here during one of his trips!!

I used to be so jealous of the girls on campus with VS totes. Now I have so many, I duno what to do with them

I didn't know Amazon had free returns? I've been debating to buy my dog a harness, but I'm afraid it won't fit her right so I have been hesitant on buying on Amazon.

I love leather bags, but keep in mind that quality leather usually = heavy. add a heavy textbook, and that becomes a huge strain on your shoulder/back.

I would go with faux leather for your purpose. JMHO.

good call. i already bought a faux leather (i'm quick!). i don't think i am ready to spend on a big leather bag anyway.

i received my ae sundress. pretty good for $8. the print would not be my 1st choice. ordered a size 2 it fits well, except for the gap between the buttons near the chest area. can be safety pinned or sewn easily. one size up would probably still work, less gap and more relaxed fit.

I Heard good things about Kate Somerville used with Clarisonic but it was kind of pricey. I am saving up some Amazon Swagbucks and will give them a try later in the future. I'd like to have at least half the cost covered and I'm a month or two away.

You could also try doing a turmeric mask every once in a while...just mix some turmeric with a little milk or water, enough to form a paste. Smear on, let dry and wash off. You might want to wear gloves though cuz it can stain your nails. (And if you're messy like me, maybe wear old clothes, cover the floor/counters, and use an old towel to wipe your face in case you miss any of the paste

) Turmeric has a lot of good properties for the skin, including being anti-bacterial.

And random request...but one of my friends is part of a contest held by a local radio station - they're doing FeBROary, and having people vote for the men who work at the station (either full-time or as regular guest personalities).
