Emergency cell phone ban!!!!!!!!

NTSB has called for a emgergency cell phone ban in cars everywhee. No use at all. I applaud this call. There are so many idiots on the road who can't drive and talk at the same time. The worst are the textings. What we need is the cops to actually enforce the law. These things are already illegal in CA but people still do it all the time.

also, what about talking to siri/iris? does that constitute a conversation and is therefore illegal? or using a GPS maybe?

But that same thought can and should be applied to talking on the phone, too. Along with many other things.

Driving is a privilege, not a right. There are enough distractions you can't control as is, and a person certainly doesn't need to add more.

I agree with you. I don't talk on my phone in the car, either. I don't mind the talking so much as the texting. The texting, you're looking away from the road. If you need to reach them RIGHT NOW, have them freakin' call you for pete's sake! Crazy
