I've had conversations with friends about that before but I can't remember which words we discussed. Scratchhead

The only thing that immediately comes to mind is that a bunch of people hated the word "moist". laugh out loud

Dichotomy

Others would be:

Shite
Jebus
Dadblame
Sammitch
Portico
Heliotrope

I like "poop",too, though, and especially "poopy". Also feces, dung, manure, crap, and defecate.

"Cadaver" is also a winner in my book, as is "corpse". woot

Too hard to pick just one, but dichotomy, I guess, would be my number one choice.

Bad Religion fan?

Mouth-feel. Like... like how some people drink tonic water or prefer carbonated beverages because of the bubbles. Or how some foods can be really tasty but if they're prepared improperly they have a bad texture that detracts from the overall experience (the best examples I can think of off the cuff are mashed potatoes and ice cream - have you ever had gritty soft serve? yuck!).

Words have flavor, and texture, and temperature and scent and emotion - all in addition to the way they sound and what they mean. I guess since I read a LOT - and a lot of everything (fiction, non-fiction, poetry, history, sociology, psychology, just about anything but really hard science actually, and that only b/c I don't understand it) - I spend a lot of time with words. I also like to write and that means I play with phrases and syllables and rhyming and meter and punctuation and--

Well I like words. Blush

Garrulous. Defenestration. Infinitesimal (now there's a sexy word!). Confabulation. I'm dying here. Faint

That's fine too, but it only describes one style.
