Thank God no! These are the regular black hornets, but I know I'm allergic to these. There were thousands of them swarming an hour ago, but they all seemed to have pushed there way under the clapboard and roof shingles. This is going to be a bitch because I'm going to have to get up on the ladder.

So far I've replaced the open soffet vents with new vents to prevent them from going inside the house once I start spraying, but I'm going to have to do it after the sun goes down. Facepalm

Plant chrysanthemums the entire way around the garden. My aunt who lived in the country did that and it kept all the creepy crawlies out of her garden.

I've planted those as well as marigolds. One of these days I'll wise up and put some bird houses on poles to get some birds in there to get the remainder of the insects. The hook worms and the cabbage beetles will wipe out an entire garden.
