I just ordered the METALLIC RUCHED STRETCH LACE DRESS http://www.express.com/metallic-r...3ae2d6b451 in a size 6. I don't think you all said to size up on this one, so it may be too big. I was so excited to see it pop up in clearance that I had to give it a try. Maybe, if I keep stalking the site, a 4 will pop up. Teehee

ETA: ayoungpretender, do you think this dress could be altered fairly easily? (If that picture disappears, it's similar to this dress. http://www.express.com/metallic-r...crumb=true) I got it for $23.99. If a 4 doesn't pop up, I want to try to get it to work.

That was when drive-in movies were still popular, & there was no age limit. My sister had a habit of sleeping through movies, so they drug me & my other sis along to watch the movie with her DH. They took us to whatever was showing on Saturday night. We were probably 8 to 10 at the time. shake head

Dump Macy's. We don't talk about deals there, so you won't be as tempted. laugh out loud I don't have a VS CC, but they're perks are easier to pass on. FS is the reason I bit on the Express CC. I'm loving being able to buy a clearance item, when it pops up & not having to worry about shipping. woot

Yikes about the SIL. I should have also mentioned that the bra has padding in it that sort of keeps everything together with the high waist. I always feel so uncomfortable unless I'm properly supported. I have these sticky push up bra cups that I usually wear with super low dresses or backless dresses. I didn't even need to wear them with this dress.

AND, you should get an express CC. I finally caved, and I'm so glad that I did. I mean, if you think about it, they probably send about 5 $15 codes each year...so that's like 5 free shirts right there...plus all the fun of sale shopping Smilie

...but I do love my VS and Macy's cards as well. Those are the only cards that I have, though I'm starting to think the angel's card isn't as useful as it used to be.

wow, that's an awesome deal on that dress! i think i paid twice that for mine. it's a VERY stretchy dress, so maybe a 6 will work for you, even if 4 would be better... here's to hoping...!

I would be scared to alter something that's gathered like that, since there are so many ways it could come out horribly wrong. That's really pretty though, I hope you can get it to work for you. I bet it's pretty flattering on a lot of body types too.
