My DH just told me that one of his students went home to care for her mom who has the swine flu.
And is this student an adult student? I mean, it's hard to tell people not to take care of family members that might be sick. And as long as she takes the proper precautions, once again that doesn't necessarily mean she will get it.
When I went back to work after my DS had this I had some very bad reactions (cancelled meetings, my staff member wouldn't talk to me except over the phone, etc.). Just remember, going to the grocery store is probably far more dangerous right now.
