Thrift, I feel so bad for you. I've moved many times over the years and i've had to do it with sick kids or being sick, or both. It's no fun. At.all. I hope you get some rest and get your strength back some before you have to finish packing and stuff.

I've been raiding Giant Eagle looking for Glade coupons. Found a fast blinkie machine today and also found some bogo peelies and some Vitamin Water 01's (buy 4 get 1 free) along with $1 off 4 pack VW peelies.
At Target found a tearpad of size 19's!

And today, I bought more of the Disney DVD sets using the $20/3 and $30/4 coupons. Yesterday at a ST, no issues when the LOD came over to override the coupon
(because of the amount), I pulled the discs out so she could inspect them and was told not to bother, they weren't concerned. Today, different store (where they are always a hard a$$ about coupons in the first place but I needed more of the Sonny with a Chance set), it took several minutes for the LOD and cashier to discuss the coupon, looking back and forth at the boxes and the coupons. Yes, they did make me pull them all out, they counted, recounted, flipped them around, did the hokey pokey, and everything else.
Thirfty - Glad to see you're home - that's sad about the babe, but good for him that he's so strong that he was able to fight that off on his own!! So he should be immune to future strains of this now (well, I guess all of you will be, huh?) right? Glad he's feeling better and

By the way, today I went to target, found a nice 2-day-new cat-scanner, used some coupons and left very happy. My friend did not do so well - she had her first dump-n-run today

It is wonderful to watch your children mature and see your hopes and prayers for them come to fruition. I've had a bad month, no doubt. Doctor/hospital bills for the treadmills, CT scans, etc. Got sick last week and missed another three days of work. Just now getting my voice back today. More tests for the mass on my liver this week. Today, it just kind of all hit me at once and I was a little more quiet, more down than usual. I had a wonderful talk with DD, and it just blew me away at her outlook on life, faith, trust and love. So, if you ever think the things you teach your children don't stick, they do, and even if you aren't seeing it now, when the time comes for it, the foundation is there.

The house......Got the ammended contract back from the owner. He is doing all the repairs now. I go on Thursday for the loan paperwork. Hopefully that will go smoothly and if it does, we'll get a closing date

I agree with the tape review too!!! I don't know how I would handle that- hopefully it would just be a non-event like yours but the waiting would sure do a number on me!
