Oh wow! That must have been "just wonderful" in the words of my wise DD laugh out loud

We've had her since she was 3 weeks old, she tolerates a lot. Too much at times that I have to tell DD to stop. I had her fixed and my DD cried constantly until she came home. It was heartbreaking, but so cute to see the two of them reunite!

LOOOONNNNGGGG time ago. Way before I found SD, and before most of the other coupon boards existed.

I preferred to sell whole inserts, because it was easier, but I didn't always have that choice. I just did what I still do today. I seperate each page of each insert and staple 10-15 at a time. I make sure the actual coupon is NOT stapled, and that it is well aligned. Then I used a heavy duty paper cuter and gave a slight margin of error.

It was great, something to do before, during and for a little bit after my pregnancy, but after I quit because I wanted to spend more time with DD. It helped pay the bills though Smilie It is a time consuming job, and can be tiresome, but if you get into a good routine, you can get it down good.

For multiple cutting with scissors, I would only cut 5-10 (depending on your scissors) at a time. Staple outside the coupon and leave a margin of error. Viola! Perfect cut coupons.

They have a huge list of prizes to redeem for. I've gotten movies for my kids, t-shirts, a sleeping bag.. several things. If you don't want to redeem them, I'm sure a ton of people around here would want to trade you for them.. laugh out loud

Its crazy - we realized a couple months ago that we needed more income if we were going to be able to do everything we wanted to do for the holidays (Christmas AND Thanksgiving), so hubby went looking for a second job. One was pretty much dropped in his lap, interviewed for it, and got it, pending clearance. Well, not an official "clearance" per se, but something just under it, called like Public Safety or something like that? Anyway, its now been 6 weeks and we haven't heard anything yet. EEK! Not cool. Its an amazing job, very little responsibility, he will be able to study for certifications for his ft job to better himself there, AND it pays ridiculously well for a pt job. BUT ... he needs to start!! Like yesterday!! We really need at least one paycheck from it if we're going to be able to go away for Thanksgiving like we want.

So ... I am scrambling, trying to get all the deals I can, save us all the money I can, convert cats into gift cards or whatever. I feel like a hustler!! We're having a yard sale this Sat., and I pretty much only have stockpile stuff, which includes an obscene amount of Glade. I'm nervous, 'cause its the first time I've done one where I don't have much other "regular" yard sale stuff.

Anyway, all that to say - I am really Pray ing we hear tomorrow about this job, 'cause that would just ease my burden so much!

I actually staple right through the coupons then cut them. Of course, I'm not selling them, they are just for my use. But then I have neat little "packets" of coupons to file. I can staple and cut 15 - 20 in a pile using just a plain old cheap stapler and pair of scissors.

Right at the moment, the Resolve carpet cleaner that was clearance a few weeks ago for 50% off. laugh out loud Works fine but dh says it doesn't smell as nice as the Bissell stuff.
