I have tried tons of products over the years. My Daddy also owns a fairly large flooring business here so we hear lots of comments about vacuums and steam cleaners. It seems that Dyson is an overall favorite for vacuums (I heart mine) and the Bissell you are looking at has gotten good reviews by customers here too. Not only that, but I own that exact one myself and love it. It also gives you a rinse option. That is so important because dirt will stick to detergent, so if you dont rinse the floor properly, after time....you will notice dirt collecting in the same spots it did before.
So with the rinse option, you wont have to clean as often. I would consider it a great buy and I highly recommend it.

They are printed on an insert that is tucked inside the DVD cover.. sometimes a single sheet insert, occasionally on the back of an insert booklet. Smilie

Glad you got that in time for the Flip deal! Although I did see a rumor that Staples will have one for $149 minus $50 rebate minus Staples q's if you are interested.

I did get my Wii games ok but since it seems like everyone is getting a Wii for Xmas this year, I feel tempted to get more! Did anyone see the bowling game at their Target? That would be perfect for my mom.

Strange thing...DH did not get the job that he really thought he was going to get. He had been talking about a job that could start in February, well they stepped up and offered to put it in writing so that he would feel like it's for sure and also gave him some leeway into determining his commission structure, etc. Well then, the company that closed down in August and is now owned by someone else called and offered him a job there! It's amazing how things always happen all at once! He doesn't want to go back to his most recent job, they changed the job completely. But he's hoping that won't interfere with his unemployment b/c he will need it until Feb! And it also helped to boost his ego some b/c he was really upset about not getting that job!

She is soooooo very right about this. I have a suggestion one step further -- Don't use soap on your carpet. When I say soap what I really mean is don't use anything even those carpet cleaners that say they aren't soap.

You will be very surprised at how clean the carpet will come -- and stay clean longer because there is no residue. There might occasionally be a spot or two that you need to spot treat and probably far more rarely than you think. I've gotten some pretty dirty carpet clean over the years with only hot water -- including a whole bottle of syrup and a bottle of grape juice (different times, different toddlers) My rule with new carpet is that it is NEVER touched by soap.

This is kind of funny -laugh out loud- I had to stop in the middle of this post and get mine out. My puppy jumped up on the kitchen counter and knocked off a cup of pop my daughter left there last night. That's what I like best about it -- make a mess on the carpet, it's right there next to the vacuum, just grab it and clean it right up.

4BB - does your dad ever recommend just using a bleach water mixture on carpet? I am positive that my Mohawk carpet recommends a bleach/water mixture as part of the warranty and that is what I use in my steam cleaner as well - works awesomely and leaves no soap residue. Just wondering what a flooring expert thinks about that? GT6, obviously I agree about the not using soap thing - I believe the residue attracts dirt also.

FYI, I might be out of the loop....actually I am totally out of the loop, but I just found that the Scrubbing Bubbles $5 GC was a coupon that was regional. So you need that coupon in order to do the deal, I"m guessing?????

I don't know any staples coupons but if you can get a hold of a office depot or officemax q, staples accept competitor's coupons as well. Sometimes, I find people trade them at the official trading thread.

inside there are recipes and coupons:
