This thread is being created so people -- generally, those people who can't seem to resist talking about off-topic junk in the Target coupon thread -- have a place to talk about shopping at Target and other miscellaneous matters.

All you folks who hang out in the Target coupon thread, start hanging out here instead! When you've got something relevant to post about Target coupons, please post about it in the Target coupon thread! We'd love to hear about it, but NOT about your dog, your cat, your mom, your genital herpes, your... well, you get the idea.

Thrifty: Have you let him sleep on his tummy? I know the whole back to sleep campaign is prominent and I am a believer in it as well, but about 2 weeks ago, I started letting DS sleep on his tummy for naps only and they got a lot longer and restful for him. 5 days ago, I let him sleep through the night like that (of course me checking on him every hour) and he is sleeping a lot better/longer. I dont know, you might already be doing that, but thought I would mention it Smilie

And yes, I do hear it gets a lot better after 12 wks old...just maybe not right after Wink
I figured that out with #4 and Emmilyne. While she co-sleeps on her back, all of her naps are usually on her tummy. I started to think that maybe I was 'training' her to sleep better on her belly by always holding her against my chest while she slept but at this point I have gots to do what I have gots to do! Mama needs her beauty rest!

PS #4 is turning 5 on Nov 30th Cool this will be her 1st 'official' b-day party w/ invites to the whole class....I just dont know if we should do it the weekend b4 or after, whacha doin?

Just a thought I'm throwing out there - is there any possibility he has allergies? My sister's LO was super-fussy, and turns out he had multiple food allergies (she was breastfeeding at the time) that was causing his fussiness and also his eczema. Anyway, just thought I'd make that suggestion. Big Grin Once they figured out his allergies and she altered her diet, he gradually became a much more well-adjusted baby, and now, he's a sweetie pie. She quit breastfeeding at about 9 months, which was amazing, because she cut out wheat, dairy, soy, nuts, eggs, and beef from her diet. OMG I would never have made it that long!! But now he's 13months and doing great. Still allergic to beef, eggs, dairy and wheat, but they are hopeful that he will outgrow those.
He has a milk protein allergy as seen by his green diapers with blood streaks. Cut out dairy and that and his rash/exzema cleared up in about 4 weeks. I've been dairy free for at least 7-8 weeks now.

This is why beeps suck! Cashiers ASSume you have the wrong items! LOL But much agreed I prefer to stay "beep free!" Reminds me of the Just say no ad when I was in school. " Beep free and proud!" LMAO

Cashiers are surprised that I have no beeps.. I keep my 01's to KM... anything that I know will beep I won't use at T... I don't want them to start questioning everything. The only beeper I do use at T is the motrin/tylenol $3/2.. it beeps because it has an extra 0 in it but its an easy K1 and I give it last.

Whenever I'm training a new Jedi I love to hear "wow and all your coupons worked" - Ummmm yeah... I always go out of my way to double check that I have the right items. What can I say... I'm a giver. Cool

Sharon-it's a nasty one, my DS has it and has been violently ill the past few days. I have it minimal compared to him. Baby him a bit, he needs it.

Got that one-thanks. I always have too many miles, this is a great use of them!

How old is your son DS? Is he feeling any better yet?

I have been holding my DS until he's passed out for naps and bedtime. Normally he goes in his crib while he's still awake. He just laid on DH the whole day today. I unfortunately had to work.

I finally had to look up a Zsu Zsu to find out what the heck it is. A fake hampster?! I live in an area that doesn't tend to get sold out of stuff although, I haven't actually looked for them, so what do I know. Soooo should I be looking for these strange little rodents and buying them and shipping them off to other crazy coupon people?

(And, no, I wouldn't expect to paid an outrageous amount above and beyond their actual cost)

Big Grin I just received one in the mail today from a TCC'er today Wink

If you find them, there are plenty of us looking for them for our kids! I have one now, so I'm excited. I found the house part of the tunnel at Target so if I find another attachment, I should be good nod

food allergies are the suck Sadwalk We found out yesterday, dd isn't allergic to shellfish which was a big relief after how badly she reacted to peanuts Shocking She was allergic to milk right from the start and got horribly sick as a baby. She has slowly outgrown that one for the most part but she still refuses to go near milk but at least things made with milk like ice cream, etc. is now tolerated without serious hives and vomiting Faint

Just out of curiosity what aisle are the on? I know the "toy area" but what items are they with? I probably won't find any but I would love to look for them.

I thought the Nivea B3 chapstick G1 lotion was JMS??? I received them today and they are 01? Well anyway I have some up for trade because I probably won't use them all.

He's 2 3/4 :-). The problem with him is, whenever he gets sick, the asthma and diabetes complicate everything and make it worse than it should be. Right now, this virus thing is heavy coughing and chest congestion. Well it makes his asthma awful and made him puke 3x in 24 hours. When he pukes, makes the diabetes bad because we already gave him insulin for his food so now his blood sugar will go low. It's vicious but honestly, we can't keep him in a bubble. He's an active kid who goes to the park almost daily, library, etc. We purell as much as we can but mostly he gets it from me since I travel so much for work.
