Went shopping today - supposed to have SIL watch DD so hubby and I could go out tonight but we were taking DD with us shopping anyhow. She called when I was at the mall and was sick - boo! We drove over an hour out there. Second time our night out has been cancelled in 3 months - gotta love being parents. I KNEW there was a reason I waited on the hotel!
We are having a nice steak and potato dinner now that DD is in bed though - excited about that : )
We were gun & ammo shopping today - it is INSANE. over 150 people in the firearms and ammo department at Cabelas - OMG! Made hubby ALMOST happy to deal with the Coach store haha! Got a checkbook cover and necklace at Coach in the mall, got a fab black wool and cashmere scarf on clearance at the Coach outlet for $28! Also bought a ton of clothes for DD from Carters outlet (on clearance only, their outlet prices are still ridiculous.) and got the hubby some ammo. Never made it to Sephora though.
Dillard, on NY had their extra 50% off sale and I bought a ton of RL stuff for her for like $9 a piece.... Same exact ones he saw on 'sale' at RL.com for like $30+
I swear.. He drives me mad cause he's definitely not a SDer! lol
I can't wait to start shopping for me again! I only gained 22lbs this whole pregnancy, but that's a lot for my height and frame, as I was a size 0 pre pregnancy... So we shall see what size I will be afterwards. lol
After the baby is born, you'll have to jump on the Express bandwagon with the rest of us.

Eve.
also with the S i was wearing the ivory cords, with red underwear underneath. i really couldn't see the red at all, which i thought was amazing.
also shown: the dress i bought that i don't remember - cap sleeve (knit top) with chiffon blue skirt. i thought it was different but i have no idea where i'll wear that. (2nd photo with belt in XS/S, which I exchanged for S/M so it shouldn't cut in as much now)
peplum dress in blue, 2. i didn't think it was made for my body type as the top was a little restricting (and you can see a weird ruffle around the chest area) but the bottom was a bit loose. i tried a 0 also and the skirt fit me great, but the top could barely zip up. now i know this style is not for me and i can stop looking at it.
stripe ponte knit fit n flare dress [express.com] in XS - i really like these stripes and i thought this was cute. it's not the most flattering cut for me in general but i thought it worked ok.
color block shift dress [express.com] in XS - generally this shape works well for me due to my smaller hips. it fit me everywhere except the shoulders, which were at least 2 inches too narrow. i didn't bother trying a S.
dont feel bad. Vs is being so shady with this offer!
*edit*
it hasn't shown up on my account yet.
The flaring on the peplum top may be from the waist being tight. I tried that in the s and my tummy looks round.
I should have at least tried that striped fit n flare dress too. Looks cute on you.
I have the ivory gold black shift dress and I like it. Must be the difference on the built of our shoulders. It came with a belt with gold buckle but it's too small for me.

oh, i tried on my ivory cords again today and i can see my underwear (stripes today) so i guess your DH was right. not sure why i couldn't see the red. i also noticed my ivory in 4 has a waistband about an inch smaller than the grey/blue ones i ordered online. i guess different manufacture dates affected this - the grey/blue was from 05/12 and the ivory from 06/12.

i tried the bourbon mushroom steak sauce from that book and didn't really like it. that may be the only thing i tried.

I just have SO much stuff I can't justify buying much more right now. When we move though I am sure I'll have more room and more excuses :l ol:
Crazy!!!!
We always have a backup plan - I already had warned DH that if DD was terribly upset when we were there I wasn't going to leave her there. It worked out well and we had a great day shopping : )
We never left DS, when he was young, so I know how it is. There are ways to stay home & still be romantic.

:lma o: i mean seriously... why even bother putting on clothes since everything is shown?! :confus ed: please tell me i'm not being overly conservative.
Speaking of being conservative, I must be uber conservative. I don't even like the bra strap showing on a regular off-the-shoulder top or dress.
there was a deal long time ago. pepper pointed it out to us.
It's amazing to be surrounded by a diverse crowd in your formative years. We all joked around and were self-deprecating about our cultures/stereotypes. That helped me learn a lot about what others viewed in their own culture as their strengths and vulnerabilities. Family interactions/expectations were so interesting too! I kind of feel like my friends got the short end of the learning stick- the only knowledge gleaned from my contribution was that Jerry Springer/soap opera families do exist

Also, no, I think that girl in Sephora just looks downright trashy. She's probably thinking she's trendy or something, but the fact that you can see her muffin top makes her look even trashier.
