what happens if you use a gc on an order with backordered items, then cancel the backorder? does it go back on the gc that you paid with? or do you get a check in the mail or something?

i can't find/don't remember which gc i used... all the ones that i have are showing 0 value. if i call they will charge me for the shipping probably. argh!!! should have just let the items ship! silly me...

I have received a check for SRC when I accidentally cancelled a BO. So I'm assuming it will be a check for your GC too. Maybe it will go back to your CC? It definitely won't go back to the original GC.

it's true. i've gotten responses basically saying "anything that you need done you will have to speak to someone on the phone for - we have no authority to do anything here at email support".

One of my tees from Express came out of the dryer with 2 holes in it. I only wore it once & washed it twice (I wash everything, before wearing it.). This is the 2nd garment I've had that happen to. I didn't even get to wear the cardigan. It came out with holes, after the first wash. They really need to stop using tissue thin fabric. If I had given more than $5 for the tee, I'd return it. My tees are mostly for wearing around the house, so I just sewed it up.

Just a heads up girls, I used the 2nd day free shipping code that came in one of the VS catalogues and I was charged the full shipping amount even though I used the code. I caught that when going through my VS card and matching it to my spreadsheet. I saw a credit of ~18.xx, but I am 8.93 short.

ETA: This is by using 3 $15 GC that came with the bras.

I need some unbiased opinions.

Here at work, they have done a ton of restructuring over the last 2 years, and my job has become a lot more support oriented and not necessarily accountable. We (one other woman and I) support 5 coordinators. We take care of all their travel and many other things for personnel. Under the previous management, I was in charge of the scheduling and coordinating of all the personnel we have, now they do the scheduling and we do the travel, logistics, certifications, etc. It's a little frustrating that after the meeting we had yesterday I felt as though I had become a "dump all" for them to dump their paperwork and crap on my department. OK, whatever, we'll deal.

However, after this happened, one of the guys came in the office and made a joke to the other girl (who technically works under his umbrella now) and pulled out his wallet and acted like he was going to hand her some money and said "OK, are you ready to take my order for what I want for lunch?" I thought it was a kick in the face to everything I have done here for him to make such a chauvinistic, arrogant remark. It made it very clear that even as a joke, we are nothing more to them now than some assistant they can ask whatever they want from. (Not that they would actually do that, but in all jokes are an element of truth.)

We work in a very male dominated industry, so a little sexism unfortunately comes with the territory. However, I thought this was completely uncalled for and degrading.

Am I overreacting? This same person told me 3 years ago that there really isn't much room for me to go up in this company because I am a woman. At the time, I let it go - because it is true. Now, I'm just annoyed and frustrated.

TIA for any input. I need an honest opinion from an unbiased person.

I'm not sure if it still works but they always suggest you email someone ( megan@thelimited I think it is) when someone complains on their fb wall. I have emailed her once a year or two ago and she took care of the issue and gave me $100 gift card. I forgot what the issue was but she seemed on top of things. I'm not even sure if they still tell people to do that on fb anymore.

my limited ban has been going pretty well. i peeked at their site the other day and saw some blouses that looked nice, but decided if i'm going to look at them, i'll look in store. it's just not worth the headache for me to order online anymore. if i can't return in store and can't return online without getting charged multiple return labels, what's the point??
