Hellow from Hawaii! Sephora in Lahaina still has Sugar B-day gift option from last year if anyone's in town. We've been stuffing ourselves silly - sushi, crabcakes, crab legs, macadamia nut encrusted mahi's, mac nut pancakes . I haven't eaten this volume of food in a while - so good and DH's fam is very into food. A few "firsts" this trip: saw the sun rise from the top of the volcano, did a sunset cruise today where we saw whales flapping their flukes at us (we've been doing the same cruise for 6+ years and have never seen that!), found some new crazy looking fish and a pendant DH is supposed to pick me up for my B-day while I'm at yoga tomorrow morn Tomorrow we fly to Kauai. No complete breakdowns yet. SIL is on best behavior! Although, she was being such a snot tonight - DH said, "My god, she sounds like your mom" Finally he gets how irritating the behavior is. We have broken outside the fam. bubble!

OOoooh and thread- related, I wore the white aztec lace dress from Express and of all the dresses I brought, that got the most compliments by far. Give it a try if your curious, I think it's well executed Also, the only VS items I have seen out and about were the black/white getaway bag from this year at the airport and a gorgeous bikini from last year (white w/ pink flowers and black/white stripe borders). I have not spied any swim totes yet!

i ended up returning my desired Sleepwear item. Correct color , but the style's all wrong! It looks nothing like the picture. False advertising!

IMO the Dior 100 perk at sephora is awesome. I'd rather get 5 of them than most of the 500 point perks. Such a high value sample!

I am one of the ashamed who cares, but not so much about just a random friend. I literally have to refuse to tell my sister what I'm wearing because she always wants to go buy it. This happens even when I change perfumes.

I wouldn't mind if I wore popular scents, but I look all over for something that feels unique to me and I stick with it for a while. My scent makes me feel sensual and original (even though I know it's not) and I like that unique feeling that comes from it or knowing if someone smells it at some other time they might think of me.

Since I spend a lot of time with my sister, I don't think we should be looking alike, behaving similarly, and smelling the same! We don't shop at the same places or anything so it isn't like she ever discovers the perfumes on her own, she only smells them on me and then wants them.
