That picture is a nice portofino color! I liken it to a light pastel blue. I am tempted to try the portofinos with all this talk. But I don't like sheer shirts and then having to wear a tank underneath.

Maybe one of these days I will step inside a store to try on.

the dark colors are not sheer and don't need tank under. the light colors are opaque enough not to need it unless you're wearing it to work or something - otherwise a nude bra is good enough. (it's only minimally sheer). i have the bitter grape and bonfire and wear both without tank under. (bitter grape is definitely purple, not the blueish color that shows on my screen online) the polka dot i might wear without tank casually but to work i wore a tank. same with the cayman blue one (or whatever color that is).

Are you all purchasing swim with every order or is there another way to get FS? I haven't used any of my $10 off codes yet, because the swim I want (& haven't already ordered) is still full price & too expensive for me to bite. There are a few non-swim things I want, but not w/o FS.

there's also a fs with clothing code w pin found in store. it's one time per acct.

mostly i'm ordering swim.

hehehe underwater basement sounds fascinating!

i'd imagine you can't have basements at all... hell some houses even go under due to all the sinkholes. scary!

this is where my age shows - i now only wear nude or black bras.

i keep hoarding the nude ones bc i wear them most. i like my underwear to look invisible under clothing... and a lot of clothing is sheer these days.

I love black bras! That's actually my go to color for things to be invisible under clothing.
But I guess I like to stay away from sheer clothing. I just don't like sheer in general. But I guess I'm kind of a tee and tank top kinda girl anyway. I like to match

i actually luv Swim '13 Majorelle Blue more than Swim '12 Pacific Blue, which made me hesitant about keeping it--(despite older clearance prices)--because i'm not a fan of blue-violet or indigo.

Majorelle Blue kinda resembles a dark shade of sapphire blue

; Pacific Blue still reminds me of borderline indigo / blue-violet

Happy Ending - If it's any indication, i finally returned Pacific Blue in favor of Majorelle Blue. Hope this helps!

Seafoam Glow, Cabana Green, and Amalfi Blue look pretty in person, too, but i gave up on these because they sorta look similar but not identical to my Maldives, Got a Mint, and Bright Marine.

i said Yes to Sour Yellow and No to Cantaloupe Craze. They haven't yet released a shade of solid orange that stands out to me.

matching sounds cute! i've heard you mention black being your "invisible" under color and i never got it. black is not at all invisible for me.

(only under dark clothing...)

My French pedis always mess up.

I only do French on my fingers. I don't like color on my hands. I've had them painted some red shade recently and I freaked me out.

Is it clear glitter or colored?

Just placed my Anniversary order - alls I know is, it is black, the code is 1x use, you must have 1 reg price item in cart, and must use your Angel card.

Oh and to commiserate with the others that have had funky billing. I just saw a B/O swim top process and got charged $11 for shipping?!

Also - when you add someone's name to your CC, the VS CC will be added to their credit history. That happened to DH and he was not too pleased and had it taken off his credit.

I'm terrified of Tornadoes! I rode one out in WI a long time ago. Those WWII air raid sirens are so haunting. I feel like Tornadoes do more damage, more often - in the US at least. I don't remember anyone dying in an earthquake in CA w/ the exception of the Bay area quake in the 80s
