Speaking of which, I finished the book today. It was an interesting read, and I agree with a lot of the viewpoints within (including the pessimism about changing).

It did seem to follow logically with the points leading up to it, and provides a nice perspective.
In high school biology, a friend and I picked zero population growth as the subject for our project, and when we presented it, we were on the verge of being sent to the principal's office, and genuinely didn't know what we'd done wrong. Teacher was pretty upset, though.

The 8 year-old Whirlpool washer I got from my folks has been throwing this "F1" error (I always think of the frogs here) when it fills for the initial wash and for the rinse. I have to go down and hit "cancel" and then "start" three or four times in a row and it'll run properly.

So I contacted Whirlpool - and they're sending a tech AND the parts for free!

I think they just made a loyal customer out of me. Cool
