They partitioned of a large part of an area where they knew he was in and they have secured the perimeter.

Suspect one ( the one that is dead) came into the hospital in cardiac arrest. He had not only had gunshot wounds, but blast wounds as well. Very fitting that he felt some of the pain that he inflicted on so many others.
