WTF Macy's why would you not carry the plus size dresses in your stores? Not one store in the greater Seattle area had any of the 12 dress styles I checked on in stock, regardless of color!
So out of frustration and a lack of trust in Macy's stock system, I ordered the same dress in three different sizes, hoping one of them will be the right fit.

Guess I'm not as much of a fat ass as I thought I was.
Uh, I mean, I just guessed on her size! I didn't want to snoop around the closet.
Guess I'll back to the old standbys
...It's really hard to find a formal dress when you're 5'3" and have a big rack...
blah blah blah

You can always just PM instead if you'd like
So if the 3rd one is the charm, will you be posting a pic?

I asked an associate in Dillard's where the smaller sizes were and she said try "Juniors". Anyone with half a brain knows that the only people that can wear girl's junior clothing are teenage boys and q-tips with eyeballs.
Long story short, if you wear a 4,6 or 8, and you can't afford to fly to New York and shop, you better be prepared to go all Little House on the Prairie and make your own clothes.
