Just spent $600 on a dress ****Update post 48****

Cliff Notes: ZM is a pissed off fatty.



WTF Macy's why would you not carry the plus size dresses in your stores? Not one store in the greater Seattle area had any of the 12 dress styles I checked on in stock, regardless of color! Ranting

So out of frustration and a lack of trust in Macy's stock system, I ordered the same dress in three different sizes, hoping one of them will be the right fit.

Totally. I can walk into the store I shop at, find my pants in 30x32, buy them and walk out. Unless it's a new brand or style, I don't need to try them on. Shirts are pretty much the same once I know the brand.

Gap is horribly inconsistent in their ladies clothing in my experience. I have a few things from there that are older but recently it hasn't even been worthwhile to go in and look due to their kooky size issues.

I agree with this size issue with clothing for women; and with the Gap you can grab 3 pair of jeans all the same style and size, and maybe 1 pair will fit correctly Facepalm Why aren't they all made the same in that style to fit the same Scratchhead

I have all males that buy for me at Christmas time and tell them do NOT buy me clothes; as I have to try everything on; nothing is a true size Nono2

My mother loves to try and buy clothes for me for Christmas. She's not usually off with sizing, but style and such? Good Lord.
