Plus side...girl puppy (Emma) is feeling better. We got her spayed at the same time, fyi, last minute decision.

Negative...we had them separated like the vet suggested and Emma decided she'd rather be with her brother and destroyed the backside of our bedroom door.

The little girl upstairs is outside crying and screaming stop again. I can't tell what's going on and I feel helpless.
I don't want to call the cops if she's just being punished. (My son has screamed at the top of his lungs in the past when he was sent to time out).

But I also don't want to stand by if something worse is happening. Ugh. Frown

laugh out loud Little punk keeps getting into the pantry to get a new one I think. I've taken 5 from him so far today. Time for a new hiding place.

I know, I should wean him from them... Hide

Can you pop out there and do one of the "everything OK here?" things? See how the parent reacts?

The only person I could see was the little girl. I didn't see her parents anywhere. (She was only two feet from the back door, but it was closed).
This happened once before at about 2 in the morning. She was screaming for about ten minutes before and then all of a sudden the door slammed shut and it was quiet.

I almost think that maybe the mom is getting hit on and the daughter is crying for it to stop. I don't know.

I've only seen her once before without her parents, but I'll definitely ask her if she's ok if I see her again.
She's very sweet and actually played with my son and niece before (before any of this happened).

It's just very weird to me to let the child outside if she's big disciplined. Dontknow

I say go with your gut - next time you hear it see if you can talk to the girl and see if Mommy & Daddy are ok. If she's little she may not know better than to spill exactly what's going on.

I got about 6 hours of sleep, and was woken up approximately 5 times because of the boy's night terrors. I'm exhausted Frown

I think she's 9 or 10. I don't want to be a nosy neighbor type, but something seems so wrong with letting a child out after midnight screaming.

I really hope she's ok. I talked to her just two days ago. She's so sweet. Frown

Wow. Poor guy. He's going through a lot lately, huh? Is there anything he can take to help?

Ya know... I'm not a total Oprah disciple, but I do watch occasionally. A show recently really hit me hard - it was all about listening to our fear and respecting the hunches we get before bad things happen. You've got to talk to that kid the next time you see her - tell her your place is safe if she ever needs a place to go, or tell her that if she ever thinks her mommy needs help to please come to you. hug What a poor baby. Something is seriously wrong in that picture.

Are the Rockets winning? DH is watching, but I'm working on books & stuff.

Yeah, I know. Frown She's been out a lot lately, but her dad keeps a very close eye on her. I'll figure something out, though.
