Names for Golden Retrievers... or any dogs for that matter

Question
OK, I am hoping that Bea lives a nice long time, but she is already about 13 and had a very hard first 5 years.
A friend in MI has goldens in breeding age and for the last 2 Decembers I just fall for the pics of the puppies. Bea won't tolerate any other dog in the house so I cannot get one (or 2 )now. If they are still breeding in a few years after I no longer have her I think I may want to drive to MI for one or two.
I'd probably want sisters.
My mind already plays games with naming them.
First I thought..
Sanity (as my dogs have been my sanity...grounding me) if I got one.
If I got 2 though???
I had a golden when growing up, named Misty.
I saw one of Daisy's (the friend's golden...momma) puppies on FB and she was named Abby Rose which I thought was pretty
The names Blanche and Rose popped into my mind and cracks me up. On one hand I don't know that I'd want silly names but I keep thinking about that. *will wait for the joke part to sink in
Since dogs are precious to me I thought Sapphire and Ruby.. but it sounds... hmm ehhhhh
What would you name them if you could?

Peeve
Peeve
So, you would have a pet peeve?
Our dog is named Billy...also pretty dope.
Actually at this point with my health sucking like it does I doubt I would take on more dogs let alone puppies. ...but we'll see.

I love those names!
I don't know if you have thought about it, but what about getting a service or therapy dog to help you?
I settled for "Keno" for one dog I had, which still allowed me to giggle to myself when I called him.

I was wanting to get a golden puppy or two the next time around..
I have had 3 rescue fur babies counting Bea. And each one holds a special place in my heart.
When Harvey and then Sassy passed from old age I thought I'd never get another because it was so painful to lose them.
But after about 6 or 8 months I knew I needed another...a house doesn't feel like a home without a fur buddy.
Bea is wonderful.. aloof but so very sweet and cute. She is probably about 13 (best guess since they think they saved her from the streets when she was about 5..and then she was in foster homes for about 9 months..and been with me for the last 7.5)
Her time on the streets has made her afraid to bond closely...and I missed her first (impressionable) 5+ years.
A friend in MI has a Golden and has been showing pics of her puppies. I always fawn over puppies. They are precious. I grew up with my first fur buddy which happened to be a Golden named Misty. She was our family pet and died when I was 15... also broke my heart.
Seeing pics of the golden puppies got me thinking that IF I get another dog once Bea does pass (because it will happen no matter how long we'd like our pets to live) then maybe I would get a golden..and a puppy so that I have that much longer to spend with that new family member.
So excuse the fark outta me for thinking what fun it could be to come up with names for one or two.
Because yeah I even though it might be nicer for the fur kid to not be an only child so I thought about getting 2 so they could play together..more than I'd be able to run around with them 10 hours a day at my age.
It's really daydreaming at this point.
So you can get off your high horse.

I don't normally use those terms.
I think I have a nickle's worth left.. I'll keep it for another time.

I agree. Anyone has who and loves their pets...would love for them to live 70+ years. No one gets a dog or cat and thinks "Well thank God they don't live as long as we do." It is honestly heart breaking when you see them get older and sicker. I still say goodnight to the pets I had when I was a kid and my cat, Thunder, who we had to put down a year and half ago. Just because they are gone doesn't make them any less special. It's ok to think about the future because, unfortunately, however much we wish it wouldn't happen, it does happen in regards to pets (or any living being).
