store brand trash bags?

65 38 April 4, 2016 at 08:19 PM
Who uses store brand trash bags? Are there any that are consistently durable?

We supply trash bags to tenants on each floor (different color) as we require trash to be taken out every day.

Of course, we load up on the Glad or Hefty bags as the deals come in, but trying to find store brands that are comparable to the name brand ones and just buy a pallet.

For one day's worth of trash, most bags will do but rules or not...tenants are not gonna take out the trash EVERY day so just trying to get the best value.

Thanks in advance.

Agree, this is where we get ours. We used to use paper bags until stores stopped offering them.

Just so you know.... I work in the plastics industry - lots of private label stuff is actually made by the name brand guys - garbage bags, "zipper" bags, diapers, etc - often in the same factories/lines. Now I am not saying they are necessarily the same quality though.

Ditto...we also use the Target Brand or Costco/Kirkland and are happy with the quality.

so if they're made by same manufacturer but different quality then knowing that doesn't mean anything. This is true and does apply to many store brands for many products. However, you always ALWAYS get what you pay for.
