Looking for toys to entertain children

3,749 340 June 10, 2016 at 07:42 PM
At my job we frequently have kids. While their parents are trying to take care of business the kids are running around banging on things or messing with objects. I'm looking for 1, maybe 2 toys that are preferably unisex to entertain 2-6 year olds. Would like it to be extremely durable and cheap. This would require them to stand up because we don't have seats. Open to other suggestions (for example coloring pages, but we don't have a counter small enough for children to use).

Forgot to say it will need to be something smaller that we can easily put away behind a counter or on a shelf.

When I was young I could stay entertained for hours with a small can of gas and a book of matches.

Well we already have a youth gun section for sale. But the people I deal with aren't on that side of the store so they won't see it.

LMAO I remember playing with lawn darts as a kid. One of the most dangerous 'toys' I think I owned. I remember chucking one way high up in the air and then ducking as it came back down. It got embedded in the roof of my dad's shed(which was made up of about 1/2" to 1" plywood).

So....yeah. Fun but potentially deadly "toy".
