I did plan something. I got a free hotel room from that Red Lion pricematching deal and planned a weekend in Victoria. Then he decided it was too much money for the ferry/gas/food/etc. So, the free hotel room sits there unused. He told me I'm spoiled because I think we should do something special.

Did you go out last weekend to a hotel and use money for the ferry/gas/food? What about last week? Last month? Anytime this year? If not, he's not spoiling you as much as he thinks he is.

Go by yourself. It may not be as much fun as it would be if your DH went (or maybe it would be), but it's got to be better than doing nothing.

Maybe he'll decide to tag along at the last minute. If not, plan something that you'll enjoy doing. hug

I don't think it's being spoiled to want to celebrate your marriage to him. shake head
