ok.. so the idea of a thread devoted to the epl was mentioned in the euro 2008 thread, and here it is!

use this as your place to:

the euro 2008 thread was really successful (thanks, killadrilla!), so let's please keep the flaming to a minimum. i'll be copying a few links from the euro wiki as well as adding some info for a slickdeals fantasy league..

I think "harry houdini"s pixie dust has run out.... Tottenham looked very uninspired this past weekend against Everton. Pavlyuchenko played his Jekyll/Hyde persona very well.... he was horrible. Lennon is overrated. I cannot stand Gareth Bale.

Pray That Pavy plays better next week with Bent.... at least it's nice to have Ledley King for some consecutive games Whee

united is scheduled to play fulham from earlier in the season, and the whole 'fifa world championship' thing they were in has them playing wigan later on as well. someone that actually cares about united can chime in with more specifics..

Who here thinks Man Utd is going to take the title?

Didn't this happen last year.... United starts off slow and come winter break, they're cutthroats?! I cannot see anyone beating United again this year. I think they'll take the league again this year.

I, however, cannot wait to see Tevez leave Man Utd. Fergie's got to let it happen and I can't wait to see what Tevez can do playing on a first-team level week after week. I think he's a phenomenal player.

What do you guys think is going to happen to Arshavin? Is he coming to the EPL? Obviously, financially, it would be wise for him... but I don't know if it would be right. I absolutely LOVED how Kaka turned down $154 MILLION move to Man City. Part of me says he did do it for loyalty to Milan, but the other part says he doesn't want to end up being part of Man City... despite all their money, they are still lurking above the relegation zone. And Tottenham is in it... which they WILL get out of. Tottenham will NOT get relegated.. or I'll Crying2

I could type a lot more right now but will stop now... not sure why I'm in such a mood to talk football right now.
