Ah man. This is on my list of wants as it's on the right battery platform. My current Oscillating multitool is a plug in. This is so tempting but I just bought the two battery + 2 free tools deal (got a router and a jigsaw.) and now this comes up.

Thanks OP! I am a tool newb and gen'xer here. Is an oscillating tool the same as an angle grinder or does this have less power. I have a dremel which works pretty well for me cutting off bolts and such but wanted to invest in an angle grinder since the bigger cutting discs would be helpful in automotive work. Thanks!!

An angle grinder and an oscillating tool are not even in the same family. You can get blades that will cut through metal but that probably isn't it's main purpose. I would recommend looking up videos about them first.

If you're looking to cut bolts this will perform better than your dremel and reduce sparking. Just gotta get the appropriate cutting blade for it. I'm not in the automotive world tho I'd assume you're working in tight spaces. I'd refer to your auto friends to see what tool they prefer.
