I figured you'd just given up on the place (and I couldn't blame you, as much as things have slowed down)

I think we've all just given up on the place, we just still come back for some reason.

Well, if there is a shortcut to being healthy. Might be one hell of a back road.

Didn't new studies show that your cholesterol levels are pretty much meaningless? I don't trust these Drs.
Not quite [nhs.uk]. However, what I think is fairly well accepted now is that dietary cholesterol intake has little to do with one's blood cholesterol levels. Let's simplify it: Sit on your ass all day every day and eat fast food regularly and you're either going to die prematurely or feel like it would be a better alternative to living. Eat well and exercise and you'll live longer than you would have otherwise and will feel better while you are alive.

Well it's also more about ratios now than just "good" or "bad" cholesterol, and there are MANY levels of cholesterol density. IOW it's just more complicated.

BTW has anyone tried the diluted apple vinegar route? Does it taste how I imagine it to taste?

I tried gargling with diluted apple cider vinegar once. I read it was a home remedy for sore throat. The vinegar kills the bacteria on your tonsils and throat that make it hurt. It definitely worked. Within 10 minutes my throat stopped hurting, and when it started hurting again within a few hours you just repeat. It was really nasty, had a bad after taste. And this was just gargling.

How dilute was that? The link specifies 5.5:1 (water:vinegar).

If it's so nasty it makes you want to hurl it's probably not a long-term solution.
