i'd like to get into politics at a national level to ban all car alarms. no one ever checks it. most are false alarms. all it does is annoy everyone in earshot.

Why can't they make typical car alarms send a text message to you or call you if the alarm is going off? That would at least let you know if was serious Smilie

My moms clicker thingie has a panic button... My babe always unlocks the doors with the clicker. He has only made the mistake once of hitting the panic button... He hates car alarms now.

But not cost effective! Car alarms give people a sort of peace of mind, whether they pay attention to them or not. I prefer those locks that go around the brake pedal, apparently those are hard to get by, but I have no car.
