The only deal I have found on Sam's Club membership (new or renewal) is through Discover Card. If you have that, then they have an offer for getting a $25 gift card as a Plus Member or a $10 gift card as a Savings or Business Member. The two previous times I've "joined" I bought deals through Living Social, but I haven't seen one in a while. Those were better deals as there were coupons for free food plus the gift card.

Actually, Sam's Club, when one pays for a business membership online at www.samsclub.com, when they go into the club to customer-service, they haven't ever asked for or required proof of any business, ie. Business-License, business-card, business check... I agree, the best approach or choice would be to purchase this offer and choose the, Business or Business Plus Membership and then have access to your local Sam's Club at earlier-hours. Yet this depends on one more thing: Do you plan on ever shopping there this early; better-said, are you a morning-person?

My local sams was also throwing in a hot dog combo with renewal, so I combined the two. $20 GC and a dog + drink.
