Still no word on who will replace Rosberg. As it stands today, there are four drivers positions that haven't been announced yet but two of those are for Manor. So really there are only 2 drivers seats to be filled, the one for Mercedes and one for Sauber.

Manor's Formula One future in doubt after company enters administration

Team failed to secure fresh investment ahead of 2017 season, which begins in late March

"During recent months, the senior management team have worked tirelessly to bring new investment to the team to secure its long-term future, but regrettably have been unable to do so within the time available."

Manor Grand Prix Racing [irishtimes.com] Ltd – the sister company of Manor's parent company Just Racing Services [irishtimes.com] Limited, which holds the rights to compete in F1 – is not in administration. In the final 2016 constructors' standings, Manor finished in last place with one point.

German driver Pascal Wehrlein [irishtimes.com] scored that solitary point at the Austrian Grand Prix.

Robert Kubica has driven a Formula 1 car for the first time since the horrific rally accident that curtailed his career before the 2011 season.

The Pole, who won the 2008 Canadian Grand Prix for BMW Sauber, suffered a partially severed right arm [bbc.co.uk] that has left him with limited movement.

But on Tuesday he completed a full day's testing with Renault at the Ricardo Tormo track in Valencia, Spain.

It is not clear whether the test, in a 2012 car, means a comeback is possible.

Renault said Kubica "complained about grip, understeer, downforce and had the biggest smile on after his 115 laps".

I'm so happy for Kubica. I never thought I would see him get to this point. I think there is zero chance of him actually coming back but I suppose stranger things have happened.

I'm throwing myself into following this season intently after watching the last race(Canada). Not because it was exciting but it did reminded me how much I love F1. Also, Raikkonen is my spirit animal and I don't know how many years he has left.
