I ordered this last time and never received the bonus items. Apparently if you have ever signed with an account at FP, they will not send out the FREE items.

This isn't a traditional voice/text/data plan, it is a data plan. Voice service and texts are provided over the data network using the FreedomPop app, not over the voice network. (On Android, the FP app replaces your dialer app. On iOS, you need to use the FP app, it does not use your phone's regular dialer and texting apps, though iMessage should work to another iOS device). Voice service with the FreedomPop app, especially inbound calls, can be unpredictable. If you are using the phone in areas with poor data service, it will have poor voice service.
To make sure that voice calls work:
In the Freedompop app, go to the Menu (top left corner), scroll down and click on [Sync Account Data].
Do BOTH to get free service (but make sure your SIM is activated properly before downgrading):
Plan: Change to Free Basic Plan [freedompop.com]
Services: Downgrade from Premier [freedompop.com]
Note that you may also want to consider ending automatic top-ups, and that will cost $5.
FreedomPop WILL charge you auto top-up ($15) after you downgrade when you more than 400MB during trial!!!

To turn off the default FreedomPop voicemail feature: log onto your FreedomPop account on freedompop .com. Go to My Account | Account Settings | Voicemail Preferences | Edit. You will see an empty box, and a message that you can check the box to "Enable voicemail and free 30-day voicemail storage". Even though the box is not checked and you would think voicemail is not enabled, YOU NEED TO CLICK "SAVE" (with the box unchecked and empty). After you click SAVE, you will see a message saying "Voicemail and Voicemail Storage: Disabled". The message won't be there in the future when you check your account, but now your voicemail is actually turned off.
