Guess they are finally valuing their service quality at zero dollars!! Having unfortunate experience of being a sprint customer, I wholeheartedly concur with the valuation of their service.
Can I cancel after the first year?
Hi! I have ten specific questions that only pertain to my individual circumstances. I epitomize laziness and my sense of entitlement is impervious to reason. Therefore it is the responsibility of anyone and everyone who reads this to find the answers to my questions.

I'm currently active on Tello and I have my Tello account number and PIN so that I can port out.

I tried signing up on the Sprint website but it's coming up as ineligible. I called Sprint customer service and they started a ClickIT Ticket for me. They told me to expect a call back and to give them my port out account number and PIN at that time.

Should I deactivate my Tello number first? I think I will lose my number if I do this right.

Any help is appreciated, thanks in advance!
You can't Port directly out from tello you need to Port to others first check this out

Hello,

There is no way they can port your cell #. Tello cell # is on Sprint network (???)

Yes, if you deactivate your tello line, you lose the number.
I did that you just need to Port to another carrier first

I am traveling abroad returning back in August. Anyway I can take advantage of this deal?
I guess if you were to buy the Moto G4 play from B&H photo for ~$100... had someone activate it for you on Sprint, etc... but idk how long B&H photo shipping takes. Sprint should be about 1-2 business shipping days. I ordered mine really really late last night, and it came today, so YMMV

Can anyone please help? I signed up for the Sprint 1 Year Free Service over the phone. Got the plan and everything was setup. However, I am just getting 3G always on my Nexus 6 although Sprint Network Coverage map shows 4G LTE Plus available. Tried everything possible that I know off: Network Setting Reset, Update PRL, Update Device Config, even replaced SIM at Sprint Store, still it is 3G wherever I go. I used to get good LTE signal with T-mobile and previously R+ on my Nexus 6 (unlocked, purchased from Amazon). Does anyone know of any fix?

I activated on 6/21. It's been around 48 hours now. Still my Nexus 6 is on 3G only. Tried everything. I know one other person on this forum also has same issue as mine. Can anyone please help with any suggestion or fix? Will really appreciate. Thanks
What/which number did you port in from? If it's a landline (wireline) number such as GV that uses VoIP number (VoIP number is considered as landline number), it could take up to 10 business days for the port to complete 100%. The port has to be 100% completed to get LTE.

In other words, if you are getting no LTE, no incoming call, voicemail not working, etc., after doing factory reset, carrier reset, profile update, and any other reset/erase/update there is on a compatible device that supports Sprint network (3G, LTE, LTE Plus), it's most likely the number porting has not 100% completed. The SIM card could be faulty too (this happens less often) or user's error (this happens all the time).

I think its not xaa or spr....its 930U or 935U something..is tat ok
930U or 935U is the phone model. You still have to get the right firmware by the CSC code (XAA,TMB, ATT, SPR, etc.). Use the following link, search for the model number such as SM-G930U, then filter the results with CSC code or region Big Grin

I'm still waiting on the port out to complete. From what I've read, it can take up a couple days. Been going on one day so far. I am still using my RW SIM card until it doesn't work anymore.
how long did it take you to port out from RW? Thanks

So if I am referring my brother who going to be under my sprint account. Will both of us get the referral bonus ($100 for me, $50 for my brother)? Or do I need to have my brother create his own sprint account?

Reason I'm asking is because when creating new sprint account goes thru tons of question and another credit check. I wonder if the above will works. Thank you all in advance.

I earlier installed this one as i thought it is according to orignially if phone is ATT... and i thought all G935U firmwares are unlocked..
GALAXY S7 edge SM-G935U 08.06.2017 7.0 USA (AT&T) (ATT)G935UUEU4BQE2

So now i need to install the one below... right?
GALAXY S7 edge SM-G935U 08.06.2017 7.0 USA (Sprint) (SPR)G935UUEU4BQE2

also what is difference between XAA and SPR?

You can't refer yourself. So your brother needs own account.

Let me recap how I did it with 2 numbers from 2 carriers
1. Tello (Sprint MVNO)
2. New Tmobile prepaid

---------------------------------------------------------
Line 1 Samsung s8 with my own Sprint SIM
Tel number ported from Tello -> ATT ->Sprint
Total Sim/Refill Cost: $12-$13

Order 1 ATT gophone SIM port number from Tello to ATT and refill $10
(I refill so I can get the account number, not sure there other way around it)

6/19 Call 1-866-782-8777 because credit check failed online and need to use my own SIM
Setup account in 1 hour with Telereps with the correct plan.
Provide the ATT prepaid number, ATT account # (call ATT to get it), ATT Pin. SIM ICCID, S8 IMEI

Line 1 the Bill is $4.15 New York Area

---------------------------------------------------------
Line 2 iPhone 6S with my own Sprint SIM
Tel Number T-mobile (new#) -> Sprint
Total Sim/Refill Cost: $0.99

I got a spare T-mobile prepaid SIM I bought long time ago, unable to activate this Tmobile SIM online,
so call to activate the SIM with a new number with the $3 plan.
BS not want to give out CC number on the phone to avoid refill. Total cost $0.99 for Tmobile SIM

The iPhone was on Tello so need to take it off Tello account and ask reddit guy LiterallyUnlimited to fix it

6/22 Call Telereps to add a line port the new Tmobile number to Sprint
The process takes less than 30 min to add line.

Provide the Tmobile prepaid number, Tmobile account # (1-NNN-NNN-NNNN N is phone number), Tmobile Pin. SIM ICCID, IPhone IMEI

Line 2 cost not yet know, should be the same as Line 1

So that's all let me know if have any question and if you are interested to get a Sprint referral PM me.
Thank you for summarizing.

1. I just got back from ATT store, successfully ported in the # from Ting and got the att go phone plan, obtained the acct # from the rep. Just logged on to Ting account, and saw that my device (verizon iPhone 6s) has been moved from "Active" table to "Inactive" table. Question: Should I "delete" the device from Ting from the "Inactive" table in order to 'free up' my device (I think that's what a SDer said in a previous post)? Should I do this in addition to pm "LiterallyUnlimited"?

2. Checked the eligibility for sprint 1-year free plan. Used IMEI from verizon iPhone 6s and att go phone # (ported in from Ting). It says "Wow! You have eligible phone(s)..." Question: Don't I need to PM the "LiterallyUnlimited" to do something first in order to make my device eligible? How did it pass the eligibility without that?

3. Because the eligibility test passed without PM the LiterallyUnlimited, I experimented with other combinations. I used a Virgin Mobile iphone 5s IMEI (was on R+, Ting, and now inactive), and used a bunch of other phone numbers (att go phone #, landline #, even fake phone #), and all passed the eligibility test! Question: Is the eiigibility checker working? Why did it pass with a Virgin mobile iPhone 5s (which is not supposed to work on this)?

Referrals are for new accounts. You won't get a referral if your brother's line is on your account.

Thank you for summarizing.
1. Delete the device wait a few hours that should work.
2. You are already eligible so you are all set!
3. That I dont know but if your VM iPhone can get pass eligibility test it should able to get a line with it, you can always activate your first line then Try port in another line with this VM Iphone and see it work. Once you gone your account setup you can port it additional line before July 31 based on Sprint term.

Thanks so much for your continued help on this forum! So, deleting my device from Ting account cannot do any harm, right?

Also, would you mind trying the eligibility checker now if you could? It is passing EVERYTHING that I tried, so I'm worried that it's just passing everything blindly (no matter it's really eligible or not). Are you able to try something that you know won't work, and have the checker tells you that it's NOT eligible? Thanks again...
