Guess they are finally valuing their service quality at zero dollars!! Having unfortunate experience of being a sprint customer, I wholeheartedly concur with the valuation of their service.

Hi! I have ten specific questions that only pertain to my individual circumstances. I epitomize laziness and my sense of entitlement is impervious to reason. Therefore it is the responsibility of anyone and everyone who reads this to find the answers to my questions.

Hi,
I am having the same issue. I am stuck at "Sprint 3G".

Could you pls explain this step you mentioned?
Quoted:
...8. Phone started working, but data was stuck at 3G. I tried edog11's suggestion multiple times, but nothing was working. I was getting impatient and was about to post here seeking help, but then did a quick google search. Someone mentioned to do the plane mode thing to reset the settings. I was not much hopeful, but tried it, and lo and behold, LTE showed up immediately when I canceled the plane mode.

I googled but cannot find anything about performing the "plane mode thing". Could you pls elaborate the steps? Thanks!
NOTE: My phone is an iPhone SE (A1723) which is the Sprint version.
I see now that you have LTE on. Great!!

I am on my first year of free service that will end on 01/31. I am going to port out and port in as I don't have another SSN. My wife is part of my plan and she is outside of USA now. The phone and SIM are with her. Can I do the port out and port in even when the phone and SIM are outside USA? Please advise. Thanks.

If I understand correctly, the Black Friday phone deals require a device payment plan through the respective carriers, which this sprint byod wouldn't qualify for.

One could add a PAID line, pay off the phone completely, cancel paid line, then IMEI swap the new phone onto the BYOD line. Gonna be some fees and such; not free.

That would still be a good deal on expensive phones depending on what the fees would be? Would they allow to pay off the device from the device payment plan, and release the device to be swapped in without some kind of minimum length of paid service?

It's a device payment plan, not a contract. you can pay off the hardware/phone anytime.

Expect to pay for at least a month of service.

Sure, there is only 1 model in the USA so if its unlocked your good to go.

I get there's no contract but a lot of these recent phone deals usually require some kind of strings attached. You previously mentioned fees? But having to pay a month, which is pretty good to trade off for a $300 or $400 gift card.

there is probably a $30 Activation Fee. Can you call/chat customer service and get it credited ... probably ? But if not, $30 more.
