Guess they are finally valuing their service quality at zero dollars!! Having unfortunate experience of being a sprint customer, I wholeheartedly concur with the valuation of their service.

Hi! I have ten specific questions that only pertain to my individual circumstances. I epitomize laziness and my sense of entitlement is impervious to reason. Therefore it is the responsibility of anyone and everyone who reads this to find the answers to my questions.

The phone is locked to Sprint. But completely paid off and not blacklisted or anything.

So I guess I need to call and verify?
Well you just can call the number ending in 8777 and sign up with it. No point verifying I think.

Actually signing up is what you want. Verifying might say no whereas signing up might say yes because the rep will push it through for the commission. (Best take the insurance if offered and cancel later).

You can use the same sim as before.

Just want to be sure I'm doing this correctly. I am currently on the free 1 year plan. My plan expires at the end of the month. My husband just signed up for the free plan a few weeks ago. If I follow the port out steps from the Wiki to T-Mobile he should be able to port my number back in as an added line on his free plan right?
absolutely

that the way to do it

port ASAP..do it now...will not gain anything by waiting...

From what I understand, the best way to switch a number now on Google Fi to the free Sprint plan is to port out number to non-Sprint MVNO then apply for the plan? What's the best MVNO to port over? This number was previously from Sprint.

I used the Sprint number checker and it says "this IMEI is already activated on Sprint" - I assume that's because of Google Fi?

Hi All,

This particular question might have answered. But I can not refer as we have huge comments(2260 pages).

I have used BYOD for 1 year plan last year(ended on July 2018) and I have used my SSN to set up the account in 2017 and removed all lines by July 2018. My friend used his own SSN to create account in July 2018. So i have joined in his account as new line in August 2018. I am continuing with BYOD plan for the 2nd year.

My Question is my Sprint account (created in 2017) is still active with no lines. I am able to login to my sprint account see the dashboard.

Do I need to cancel Sprint account or let account be active in order for the availability of 3rd year BYOD plan continuation OR in case my friend removes my line from his Sprint Account then if I want to grab BYOD advantage again.

Could any one of you answer my query if you can. Thanks in advance.

I signed up for this yesterday. I didn't have time to have a SIM card mailed to me, so I bought the 3 card boost mobile set from Best Buy as the closest Apple Store is a haul and the local sprint places wanted $9.99 for a single sim. I'd say setting up the plan took an hour and a half. We'll see if I keep it, the voice signal at my house is decent, but the data coverage is not very good. I went with a hand me down iPhone 5S as I'm turning in my old company iPhone 7 due to a job switch. Overall it seems like an amazing deal if the coverage is ok at your house.

Thanks. I see that there's no way to clear the IMEI without porting over to anything without attachment to Sprint.

My 7 was a steaming pile, it always sounded like I was in a fish bowl and the GPS was horrible, I did like the 128 GB of storage and the camera was way better than the 6 that I had. I actually thought the 5 had a better camera than the 6. My old iPhone 5 was the best phone I ever had. This 5S is mint and was free, the 16GB of storage is the only downside to it. I actually had better Verizon reception with the 5 over the 7. I'm not sure if it makes a difference for sprint or not. I'm watching for a deal on an 8 or a X, then I'll swap devices on the plan.

Well I's not going to be very good if you use obsolete phones.

iPhone 5S lacks Sprint's main high speed band.

Not only that you will ALSO have to get Fi to remove the MVNO Flag.
