oh you're serious?
the flippers here crack me up. you could instead sit on a XXX fund for XXX return per year with zero work. instead you "invest" in a depreciating asset spending hours to buy, advertise, sell, and ship to make a couple dollars while it sits and depreciates.
EDIT: don't ask me for investing advice I am not an investing encyclopedia or financial adviser. google, read warren buffett, investopedia, fool.com, etc. etc. on basic low risk stock investments.
that aside, with the many promo code glitches I've experienced, I wouldn't be surprised if this rings up for $30. that would be a windfall. I guess. for the half an hour they scrounge around at the counter trying to find where they put your reserved item aside.

*edit: ermmk just to clarify: i didn't mean "investment" as in buying these to try to resell for profit. i simply meant buying it for my own use and what some people are thinking about buying the older SSDs vs waiting for further price drops on the newer NVME.
