SERO already offers Hulu, you don't need to switch to these newer plans, you can get it now and they couldn't have made it easier to add the promotion. It took me days of confusion to add a similar promotion for HBO from ATT.

I figured this out. Hulu was not automatically added to my plan so I went into "Change My Services" in my Account Manager and checked off the box for Hulu. Got a text after a few minutes to set up my new Hulu account.

As soon as I got confirmation all streaming slowed to a near halt. Music and videos sound like they're being played back at half speed even in good coverage areas. Beware.

You are right. I thought there would be discounts if i buy a new phone through Sprint.com like there are used to. I just checked and didn't see any. Do Sprint still offer discounts for 2-year contract?

I had the opposite experience. When my billing cycle came, and I was switched over I found my data speeds increased dramatically, as if I was being throttled on SERO even though it wasn't supposed to be. I got 19 mbps at my house where I've never gotten more than 5 or 6 on a good day, and usually get 1 or 2.

Edit: I've noticed more roaming, so it might be that I am roaming now more instead of being forced onto weak signals.

Hulu was not enabled by default on mine because it was incompatible with unlimited shared nights/weekends at 6pm which somehow survived the conversion despite being useless now.

so are you saying that this can happen only for those who have migrated to swac and their sponsors left sprint? this person was on SERO 500 and was converted to swac with the forced conversion.

There was this text which suggested that there was a manual conversion by a Sprint employee--who knows what was done in the back end computers--which could make the reddit poster's conversions different from what is being described here:
While I was waiting for my two SERO lines to be converted to SWAC, I received an invite for SWAC that I wanted to use for my wife's non-SERO account (not under contract.).

I was told by a CSR that I would have to take ownership of her account (add it to my 2 SERO 500 lines account), create a new SWAC account for her and then port her old number over (while closing her old account in my possession).

Sounds simple, but it was far from it. After the change of ownership was complete, I couldn't get any CSR who understood what I was talking about.

I called 4 times yesterday, and each time my call got dropped while the CSR was supposedly talking to a supervisor.

On the 5th try, I got a decent CSR who apologized for all my hassle. He said that since my wife's line was now under my ownership and under the same account number which had 2 SERO "employee" lines, he said he would convert all 3 lines to Advantage Unlimited Plus accounts, immediately.

Sure enough, I got text messages confirming the change to all 3 lines. I checked my account online and confirmed it there too. All 3 are now Advantage Unlimited Plus. We'll see if there are any surprises on my first bill, but with auto-pay they should be $30 per line plus taxes, etc..

So hopefully everyone else will get their SWAC lines ASAP, and with much less effort.

Finally was able to convert my SERO account yesterday morning after emailing the CEO. Had submitted the online form last Thursday 3/21, but didn't get any confirmation beyond the initial email. Got tired of waiting.

After the CEO email, took a little more than half an hour to convert. Noticed phone updating in the background; got text "Sprint: You now have unlimited music and videos included! Visit http://tdl.sh/EvwkFv to download TIDAL & listen to your favorite music ad-free. FreeMsg."

Shortly thereafter notified by email from [email protected] 1st that account was successfully converted; then got another text about an hour later "Sprint-[NAME], plan updated for phone# [##########]. Effective 03/27/2019, the Advantage Unlimited Plus plan replaces the SERO Premium 500 plan. FreeMsg."

Just email the CEO...super fast & responsive.

You can probably just email [email protected] directly instead of the CEO. He probably just forwards the emails to them.
