I see 25mbps for $20 and 100mbps for $30 . I am one person and traveling often with job so thinking of doing the Performance Starter (for 25mbps) - wondering if partially through contract they would upgrade me for 10 bucks more to 100mbps if I felt I needed it

On a side note I just canceled my plan and its only a few weeks but I think I can sign up again with different email and phone

You just said it.. 1/3 TB for one person. Easy to hit 1TB in a family of 3 or 4 with portable TVs in everyone's hand.

That makes perfect sense. I thought people were sharing internet or something - or using it for business purposes.

Cable providers should really bump it up to 2TB

On a side note my plan has been off for about a month and I will try to sign up again with new offer. I think the only thing that has to be unique is the phone number. I will probably go for 25 since I travel so much. Ater using 150 for a years really curious if I will notice it being much slower.. I can always complain and upgrade later. I am guessing it will take about 5 days to turn on, so going to wait to Thanksgiving to order. Hope prices do not go up. Wonder if there will be any BF deals

I was able to resign up same address , same name after canceling , within about a month. I was traveling so the month gap did not matter. Was able to get $20 Performance Starter (25 Mbps) or $30 (100 Mbps) , Chose the Performance Starter because I live alone and travel often so will hardly use. They over provision so will get like 30Mbps which should be fine.

You need new email and new phone number

Options are coming out. Check your local area providers. I'm starting to see smaller companies provide high speed service via dish on your roof. It's comparable in pricing but better service.

I had a WOW rep show up at my door yesterday. I can get 100 Mbps for 34.99/month, 2 year agreement.
An even better deal, is the 500 Mbps for 54.99/month for 2 years. Prices are starting to come down.

The best thing about not ordering stream tv is taxes. Taxes for tv are $15 a month or so. So internet plus not worth it

Called Comcast but they don't see it in the system here in SF Bay area. They said they could do 44$ - 75mbps.

I'm currently on 29.99 for 15mbps.

Wondering if anyone else got it to work in the Bay area ?
