Chase Slate is only 15 months but 0% balance transfer fee.
The slate itself sucks as a card to actually use for anything other than the BT, but if you're mainly concerned about the BT, and the 3 extra months won't kill you, it saves you 3% of however much you're transferring over this... plus once you're done with the BT you can product change it into a genuinely useful card like a Freedom or something.

Thanks. Got me excited haha... Only problem is chase no longer offers new applications for the Slate and that offer. Check it out, here's their list of all credit cards and Slate is missing: https://creditcards.cha
I would recommend Costco Visa card with current benefits..has all coverages, but not 2% .. though has 3% at restaurant and for travel and 5% on gas

Let's say my due date is 15th of every month and I pay on the 12th of every month (3 days before my due date). Will I get the 1% for "payment" or not?
Take a look at this before you apply https://slickdeals.net/f/11641971-psa-citi-double-cash-major-changes-to-cardholder-benefits
Basically you gain zero point five percent CB over other standard 1.5% CCs like freedom unlimited, C1 QuickSilver, AMEX CashMagnet, etc and you lose essential benefits like signup bonus, extended warranty on most of your purchases (since Citi had the great idea to remove it this year) which all the other cards still offer.
If you need the card to transfer a balance Chase Slate is a better alternative (No transfer fee), credit card benefits with similar cashback rate? all the ones I previously listed
Also, have you received any past balance transfer offers after the initial intro offer?
This is not an unrealistic scenario. You may recall that a few years ago, Amex lost the COSTCO contract to Citi Visa. Do you recall if at that time, Amex allowed product changes to other Amex cards?

At the time amex holders automatically got... Citi cards.
Because Citi bought the account portfolio as part of the deal with Costco.
Amex sent targeted offers to their card holders to entice them to APPLY for a NEW Amex, but the only automatic conversion was essentially closing the Amex costco card and moving the account info to the Citi Costco card.
