Jeez...

-Simple Choice is NOT eligible. No, your account isn't special. It won't work. You have to change plans

-If you don't walk out of the store w/ the new Iphone in your hand, you will get bill credits. Which means you are stuck for 2 years and the extra you're paying for the line lessens this deal.

-Deal is $500 rebate for 6s phones, $700 for iPhone 7 and beyond. If you have an iPhone 6 or lower, you're getting no rebate. End of story. There are no loopholes or "what ifs".

-Phone screen can't be cracked. Not a "what about a little crack in the corner" comment. It will be rejected. Same goes for "what about a home button not working." Try it, but don't be surprised when it gets rejected. It's your $700 gamble. Stop asking if it will work.

-If your screen is cracked, get it fixed by a 3rd party place before sending in. It's typically less than $100

-Phone can be unlocked after 40 days w/ a request to Tmobile, and then used with any wireless service.

-Can't cancel line until you get your rebate; then go ahead and cancel or port out. Rebate takes 2-3 months to get

-Phone supports dual sim, so put your current ph# on the Esim (just go to a Tmobile store and ask) and the sim card with your new # in the phone. Yes, you can now have 2 numbers on new iPhones. Then you don't risk the phone # not being active while waiting for the rebate.

-If you want a cheap iPhone 7, look on the internet. Don't be lazy. Otherwise try a boost mobile store and read the "instore promo" offers on their website. Some are shady, so ask everything they're charging you for.

-Lastly, don't trust the Costco wireless reps. Hundreds of people here have done this and similar deals. They know better than any rep you will meet, as they've all done these deals.
Please make sure that you buy the phone outright, meaning limited colors and storage options.

My local store didn't have the iPhone 11 in stock and I was told I'd still get the GC rebate. After reading all the paperwork, when I got home, this isn't the case. Had to go back to cancel the line and wait for the phone shipment to arrive to go back and return that (which you have to mail yourself with the label provided). 2 weeks later, EIP is still on my account.
You are talking CRAP.....stop telling untruths.

This is ABSOLUTELY wrong

ANY listed phone, ANY carrier.....as long as its in good condition and not icloud locked

Anyone from the Tampa Bay Area know if the stores near here have a lot of stock? Thinking abut doing this for a new iPhone 11 Pro Max.

Is the Boost mobile iPhone 7 BOGO deal over? Need a phone to trade in but looks like the price for one is $100 now.

Edit: I see the price as $50, but no mention of getting another for free. Guess I'll have to go into the store to inquire.

I did the deal, but at a place that doesn't sell much T-Mobile at all. One thing I noticed is that the assurant slip says "accepted trade in offer $29", did that show up as $500-$700 for anyone else? Wondering if I need to pull the plug before I trade these in.
"Accepted Offer Vlaue" (estimated value of you old phone) is the bill credit part for your trade in. You should get up to $700 - $29 later on. For $29, it likely an iPhone 6s or plus.

Hah, sure friend. I can try to make more sense. I read the wiki again; I don't see an answer to what I was asking. Closest is # 8, but I'm not talking about porting.

1. We currently have 2 lines, with T-Mobile.
2. So we have 2 phones, 7+'s, obv attached to those lines.
3. We'll have to trade in those 7+'s to get new 11's. Then we'll have 4 lines. But 2 phones.
4. Previous poster said Costco rep referred to having other phones to make this work(not just 2 phones for 4 lines).
5. Just curious if this is true. Before I drive a clip to a costco that has inventory.
6. Thanks!
This is what you should do and should have no issue. Get the 2 new lines with the 2 new iphone 11s. Use those 2 new active lines on the new phones for at least 5-6 days so that the lines register on t-mobile network as those lines being used and the phones being activated on those lines. In the meantime, keep using your old iphones for your old lines. Then after 5-6 days, just swap the sim cards and you can store those other 2 sim cards (the 2 new lines) somewhere, you do not need to have a phone for them. Then just ship your 2 old phones without sim cards in them.

Hah ok! Thanks for the engagement. Yeah, that's what i'm asking about. But - who mentioned free? Wiki talks about adding new lines for existing customers. Also about canceling lines. But, no worries. Guess if I were to do this, I'll have to get a couple cheapo phones to use on the old lines until I cancel the new. Thanks again and hope you have a good day!
You might need to try this to see if this work for you since you already have 2 existing line with t-mobile. After you get new 2 iPhone 11 from Costco and use them for a few days then goto t-mobile store and ask if you can move the new line to e-sim and use the old sim from iPhone 7+. We learn from this that iPhone 11 can hold 2 numbers in one phone. One using e-sim and one using SIM card. Hope this help save you money to buy cheap phone for your existing line.

You can do whatever you want. If you do not cancel, you will keep paying.
If you cancel, then it is done.

Huh?
I have boost prepaid service for a month on that phone, so I can just take out the SIM card and ship right? I just didn't know if T-Mobile would require the phone to not have active service in order to trade in

Or move the old line to e-sim and keep the new sim in the new iPhone 11 for the new line number?

Please talk/chat to Sprint customer service if they can help you.

Boost shipped my phone, I will get my phones on Monday. Will check IMEI and keep you posted.
I got the same message, it's a brand new phone from boost that I paid for, I wonder if it's accurate because there's no balance left. but I bought it less than 48 hours ago..

Just noticed that my trade-in iPhone 7 missed the last digit on the Assurant shipping Receipt (as well as Customer Copy part). I have not shipped the trade-in phone out yet. Should I add the last digit myself, or go back to the Costco store and ask the rep to re-generate a new shipping sheet?

Great! Thanks so much for the guidance. Was wondering, and you confirmed some thoughts. I appreciate it.
