I just bought the 55 inch Hisense from Target and can say RokuTV is Fast, Reliable and easy to use. It works well, but you are limited to Roku's offerings. I still have my Firestick just in case i need "additional offerings" .
Here's a website that lists the pros and cons of all the major TV software platforms. It looks like through their vast use of these platforms that they prefer the Roku version the best.

I'm not familiar with Samsung pay since I don't have a Samsung phone. Discover, Chase, and Target red cards offer 5% off at Target right now. Combine that with the 15% coupon on Target's product page for the Roku TV version and you can get the TV for $185. Combine that with cashback and you can knock a few more dollars off.
I am newer to the Roku, it always seemed like something I didn't really need. But I'm a huge fan now. I have the 60 inch version of the Target TV and I love the phone APP. The remote is responsive and the software is quick.

It has all the major apps: Netflix, Disney+, Hulu, NFL Ticket, Apple TV.
Has tons of network apps: Nick, Cartoon Network, etc.

Very easy to navigate all the settings on the TV as well.

Ah, ok, so this is an "android TV". Which is different than the one at Target (which is also less money) and a "Roku TV".

10% back Samsung Pay knocks that down to almost equal.

I hear and read constantly how Roku UI is old, outdated and slow... but ol SDers seem to think it's the gold standard.....lol

protip: this one actually a review on Rtings. does the target one have any sources?

Lol techradar. Either way Roku is for folks that want a hand held. Lemme know how many apps you can side load - I wont wait.

Of course all these OS mean nothing if you already have an Apple TV or Roku, so hows the picture quality of this tv if anyone has?

I have the Roku, I really want this but the Roku has better reviews. The 58 had Bluetooth which was good for a bedroom tv and I don't know if I'd use it but the ability to load emulators intrigues me.

Roku spazzes out sometimes when playing their channel, audio gets out of sync and I have to stop and restart.
