The no-sweat design eliminates condensation on the outside of the cooler and the Rubber Pad non-slip feet keep the cooler secure in your vehicle or boat. An interlocking no-fall lid stays up when you're unloading the cooler and the carry handle folds away for easy packing in your truck or raft. From what I have read, the trick with these coolers -- if you want the ice to last a long time -- is to pre-chill them the night before (using some milk jugs of frozen water) prior to loading them up for deployment.

You make that sound like a drawback..... Bonus!
I must say, those rubber tie downs are a bear to pull. You really have to stretch them to make them fit in the keyhole notches.
Seriously, if you have any arthritis in your hands, are thinking of getting one and it exists in the store, try to seal it up with the tie downs.
You might say, "Not for me". I'm close to saying that, but can do it. I can always give it away to someone as a present.
Looks well made. Obviously much cheaper than the expensive brands.

I have the Ozark softpack of the same size. This is much heavier, and a few inches larger all around. You are not shoulder strapping this one.
It's sad I will sometimes choose the cheaper cooler to bring because it's less likely someone will walk off with an igloo playmate vs a yeti.
Here are a couple of things that you learn about these coolers. ( I am talking about all rotomold coolers....not just this one. )
One...they are outstanding at keeping things cool.
Two....They are HEAVY!!!.. It is important to consider how these coolers will be used. Yes, you can get a 50+ qt cooler. I would look at the weight when empty. Once you add ice and fill it up, you are not carrying it anywhere without at least a couple of people....at least not easily.
Three.... I have not seen it mentioned...but I think it is a big deal. That is the pressure release valve. The reason that these type coolers work so well is that the walls are heavily insulated. Add to that they are airtight. It is the airtight part that I am thinking about. If you have ever used one of these on a hot day, you will quickly understand why this is a very nice feature. When you have one of these cool down inside, it can create a vacuum that will make you consider a crowbar to get open. I have seen 2 people working together, trying to pry the cooler open.
On a side note....has anybody tried the light test on these?
What I am talking about is the completeness of the insulation. Some of the cheaper coolers have air gaps in the walls and missing insulation.
A good way to test is to put a bright light in a sealed cooler...while in a dark room.
If there are any gaps, you will see the areas light up in the walls.
Edit: I entered other zip codes until the $39 price displayed, then changed to my zip code and the $39 price stayed. Got another..... 😊
