My store still had two 6 tool kits in stock but I think the price went to $269.
If you need batteries for the kit you already have it might be a good deal but for someone who is looking at getting into a new platform it is not.

If you can't find it (I've seen one remaining kit for $199 at one of the Lowe's I go to, everywhere else it is $269 I believe), or if you're already invested in Kobalt (I have every tool or its equivalent in the kit) and want to add tools or batteries this is a good deal.

I went in on this deal because I wanted the ratchet. I had Lowes gifts cards too so my cost on the Kobalt was $116.99 for 2 batteries, charger and tool. I can't get a cordless Milwaukee or HF EarthQuake ratchet with battery & charger for that price.

you have no idea how corporate America works. keep buying the overpriced tools, Kobalt management need your help to get themselves good exit retirement packages.
my bet is on Craftsman and from what it looks like Lowes is also betting on Craftsman.
