Glad I did. $300 is better than $100 and I can still port out in a few months. No contracts on the Kickstarter plan. They automatically waived the activation fee by doing it online as well, but after looking at my confirmation email it says there will be a one-time credit of $30 within 3 invoices however that plays out. My first bill will be charged 30 days from today.
I was concerned with the Amazon reviews saying they were sent 4 of the same SIMs, but it worked flawlessly. Over chat the rep told me which one to use. I also asked if I could double down on both the $300 and $100 Amazon SIM promotion, but was a no go. Worth a shot anyway.

you won't be able to combine BYOD and phone purchase in 1 order. it needs to be all BYOD or all purchase

Cant you combine 2 lines for BYOD and 3 lines for phone purchase ?
1. Does a new Sim card automatically activate with the phone purchased or does it need to be added or get my own from somewhere else?
2. Is the port in request done immediately or after you receive the phone & sim in the mail?
Does it anywhere say its max 5 lines per household ? Asking this because we may get more than 5 lines on different accounts.
