Glad I did. $300 is better than $100 and I can still port out in a few months. No contracts on the Kickstarter plan. They automatically waived the activation fee by doing it online as well, but after looking at my confirmation email it says there will be a one-time credit of $30 within 3 invoices however that plays out. My first bill will be charged 30 days from today.
I was concerned with the Amazon reviews saying they were sent 4 of the same SIMs, but it worked flawlessly. Over chat the rep told me which one to use. I also asked if I could double down on both the $300 and $100 Amazon SIM promotion, but was a no go. Worth a shot anyway.

Or what if you lose your phone + SIM? Does that invalidate the rebate so long as you buy a new SIM and activate it as a replacement for the lost phone?
But that's logic. It's always possible that wrongheaded policy wins instead. Still, I'd be surprised if that impacted the rebate.

Purchased 5 lines on 4/6 and activated them on 4/7.
Is there any reason I should be concerned with the following data?

I was on the phone & chat for about 4 hours this morning being bounced around from rep to rep, from tmobile to sprint, from department to department, and finally got some breakthrough.
If you activated your phone after 04/09, they denied the $10 credit/line for the unlimited plus upgrade, because they say the promo was only for phones activated prior to the end date. There was a note on my account (they put the note themselves without me calling) saying that the credit was removed because I activated my 5 lines on 04/10, outside of the promotion date.
I huffed and puffed to speak to their supervisor (because how could I possibly activate phones ordered on 04/08 by 04/09?) and after being on hold to talk to the supervisor for 30 minutes, the original rep I spoke to came back and told me the most vital piece of information:
He said he found a very recent communication concerning the BYOD or purchase of a new phone and receive the $300 MC rebate. The communication stated that as long as the sim card was bought or activated prior to the end of the promotion, they will honor the $10/line credit. A "backscript" would automatically credit those accounts for this promotion. I think something like you have until May 9 to activate those sims purchased during the promotion to qualify. I wasn't too sure on that part.
So anyway, I told the rep to identify that communication and place a note on my account with all of that information. The rep said to wait until a few days before the next billing cycle to see if it went through before calling back again. The rep also said he'll give me a call whenever the script goes through.
I'm hoping for the best, but not expecting too much. We'll see....
I hope she responds.

When I told him about the $10 discount per line, he didn't know what it was until I gave him my other account to compare!
It looked the same to him and gave me a $50 credit. He said to call back after the next bill if still not fixed.
I hope she responds.
I would suggest submitting the contact form about the "Invalid Activation Date" error to the appropriate executives. I would start with the Senior VP of Customer Care.
Shows "Invalid Activation Date"
The person on the phone specifically said I was still eligible for $300 promotion since order was initially placed before deadline (4/8).

Does he need to worry about or do anything about Invalid Activation Date?
Please let me know if you find out anything about how to get this fixed.
Also my rebates all show Invalid Activation Date. What a mess!
