Glad I did. $300 is better than $100 and I can still port out in a few months. No contracts on the Kickstarter plan. They automatically waived the activation fee by doing it online as well, but after looking at my confirmation email it says there will be a one-time credit of $30 within 3 invoices however that plays out. My first bill will be charged 30 days from today.
I was concerned with the Amazon reviews saying they were sent 4 of the same SIMs, but it worked flawlessly. Over chat the rep told me which one to use. I also asked if I could double down on both the $300 and $100 Amazon SIM promotion, but was a no go. Worth a shot anyway.

It is easy on this thread to feel the whole world was doing this deal on Apr 9. The reality is that group could be as small as this thread—so we need to make every voice count.
The earlier we get clarity about eligibility, the easier we can rest—without having to return daily to this thread for the next 100 days.
Marci has always been very responsive once she understands the prevalence of a problem. Also, we have the corona card to play; it would be impossible for most to order and activate the same day with so many retailers closed and shipments delayed.
