Tilling a garden, loosening soil for landscaping or sod, etc....

I have had this for 2 years and it is my go to tool when it comes to breaking up the hard ground around our landscaping. It doesn't like large rocks and bricks (cause whoever owned our home when it was built buried everything 🤦🏽) but it will create a very loose and usable 10-14" of soil to work with in a very short time!

This little machine is worth the investment. Much more effective then you would think an electric motor could be. Due to the design and small area it works with, it is actually better than gas tillers I've used.

If you have a hard clay soil then you need to rent the big gas tillers from Home Depot - there is just no way around it. But be careful, those machines are not meant for casual use and it's dangerous work. Have you considered going to a raised bed and using a quality topsoil instead? In the end it will probably look nicer, irrigate better and grow better.

I have had one of these for 3 years. Worth every penny! Surprisingly powerful, but the close tines cause rocks to get lodged in between them. Despite that, I'd buy it again with no hesitation.
