Logitech Pro Stream Webcam available at Sam's Club (check availability on website) for $64.98. I believe this is very similar to the C922, but I'll leave that assessment to the pro's down below...

QA Note: ymmv, stock will depend on location

If you are not a Sam's Club member, be sure to take advantage of the Sam's Membership deals listed elsewhere on this site, wherein you can basically get a 1-year membership for free.

If you have a digital camera, camcorder, or GoPro that can output HDMI, you could purchase an HDMI to USB capture card/dongle for about $11 off of ebay [ebay.com] and use it as a webcam

Youtube review [youtube.com] of the capture card.

And, here's a twitter thread [threadreaderapp.com]which goes into more technical detail about the $11 capture card

Some highlights:
1080p@30fps
720p@60fps
20ms delay (close to Elgato Cam Link)
Been sleeping under a rock I see?
That's garbage 720p only. Skip that. We don't live in 2005 anymore.

This is a shitty version of logitech. The reviews are not great either. Wait for C922 pro deal.
922 deal? How about 922 in stock? And they're more expensive than they were 2 years ago.

This is clearly a 1080p webcam and its actually pretty solid quality webcam from Logitech
He's really not wrong tho. Not much has changed since then and 30 frames at 1080 has been around for years. Why aren't they giving people what they want? Better frames, better res and no mic. It's really pathetic. And this shortage isn't spurring on innovation at all.

How did you came to this conclusion? logitech.com recognizes it as C922 Pro when trying to register. I also see that there is an issue with all? C922 cameras not recording at 60FPS in 720p.

This might be outdate, I don't know. Sent a message to logitech to confirm the model I have. We'll find out soon.

I got this deal, and compared it to my actual c920. With the exception of the front face logo and led light change from blue to white, they perform similarly.

Neither of them have the ability to record 720p@60.

That being said, having that feature would be nice, but otherwise seems like a solid deal. Why they felt the need to play games with the part numbers is anyone's guess.

The fact that you can get a brand name webcam is nice. However it states it does 720p/60. Waste of people's time and I'm going to guess resellers are going to echo the 720p/60 description.

Yeah pretty annoying I agree.

But the majority of blame rests on walmart/sam's club for using the c922 description and spec sheet incorrectly for this product on their website.

But they had them, they work well for what they are, and they aren't price gouging, so that is something.

I managed to pick the last one up at local Sam's Club. When I enter the serial number on Logitech's site, Logitech shows that it's a C922. From what I can tell the C920 and C922 are the same hardware (they are both M/N:V-0028) , but the C22 has an upgraded firmware that added some additional features such as 60 FPS at 720p and some additional 3rd party software support. The only difference between the C920 and C920s is that the s version has a privacy cover. It would have been nice if this one had an integrated privacy cover, but definitely not a deal breaker. I have a draw full of stick on privacy covers that I picked up from trade shows before COVID.

If you search Logitech's support site by V-0028, you can see how it finds all 3 cameras.

What app did you use to pull the technical info you are showing? I've been trying to find the latest firmware for this camera and nada. It's hard to believe that hasn't been any updates, since this isn't a newly released model. I installed the Logitech camera settings, and it's not giving me half the info you are showing.

These details are coming from the OSX System information hardware tab for USB and camera devices.

You can get one for $99 if they back in stock. You can order one right now on CDW website.

Is there anything that shows your firmware version? It would be interesting to compare the versions on the 2 cameras to see if they are really different.

If samsclub.com didn't find this camera stocked in your local store, check again. I have several stores in my area. Yesterday this webcam was showing out of stock in all stores but one. Today it's back in stock in another one of my local stores, and the price is still $64.98.

For anyone on the fence who needs a webcam for Enterprise conferencing apps, I've been testing this morning with MS Teams and Skype for Business, and so far I am pleased. It's a lot better then the integrated camera on my laptop, and the audio playback is crisp. I'm using the stereo speakers built into my primary monitor for Playback, so this will eliminate my need to wear a headset all day. For $65 this is a no brainer.

BTW, I had to change my default Recording Device to the 1080P Pro Stream before it showed up as an option in MS Teams. I haven't done enough testing to know if a simple reboot would have fixed this, but not a big deal.

Found one at a local target for same price last week. Out of stock online but they had 3 in store.
