For example, if you met the minimum spend for the sign up bonus in the first month the card was opened, the statement closing date was probably October or November 2016. If you met the minimum spend in the 3rd month that the card was opened, then the bonus may have been awarded in January or even February - again, depends on the statement closing date. You can check your first few statements in that account to know for sure.

Not any more, especially with this offer of extra points. Just an FYI, but the annual fee will hit on your first month's statement and doesn't go against the minimum spend requirement.
The fact that you don't check the Doctor of Credit daily, like you do with slickdeals, is probably the reason you got into this situation in the first place.
Yup, seems like Chase has changed their stance on matching (within 90 days), which is disappointing. You could always try again in a week or two.

You got a link or more details? I've been following along on the DoC, and only see stuff like this:
(While not the topic of this post, the issue of matching signup bonuses is odd in that Chase used to always match within 90 days, and this time around it seems most people are so far being denied a match, with only a few able to get matched.)

The Doctor of Credit website indicates that the Chase Reconsideration line is open on Saturdays. Does this make sense to you? Why would underwriters be working on a Saturday?

My wife came from another country and as I soon as I got married, I started building up her credit. I added her to some of my CC.
After a yr or so, without any source of income, she was able to get her own CC.
So once I got her close to the 800 mark, I started applying her for the Preferred and Reserve with no luck. I think maybe because of short credit history. I think this was 4 yrs in.
Luckily, because she also has a Chase Bank account, we went to the bank and they had an offer for her for the Preferred which was the only way she got it.
Now 8 yrs in, she doesn't have a problem getting any CC now.
When I got married, we went on our honey moon in Bali.
We stayed at the Hyatt Regency and back then it was only a Category 1 5000/night. They have since remodeled and now 8000/night. Bali actually has a Grand Hyatt too for only 8000/night.
You could tell the hotel needed some updating but gorgeous nonetheless. The scenery there are amazing. 7 nights there = 35k points. Remembered this Chase card gives you 80k points.
Needless to say, my wife was impressed and thought I spent a fortune on he honey moon.
Years later I revealed to her that our hotel was essentially FREE. Next year is our 10 yr anniversary and we plan to go back to Bali.
