I ported out of AT&T last week using H2O SIMs without buying airtime. Still worked.
How do you activate H2O sim without buying air time. I tried online and its asking me to buy $10 airtime.

Do you see any progress on your shipping? Does it have delivery date? I saw one update this morning that says "Package transferred to destination UPS Mail Innovations facility" Not clear what this means. USPS doesn't have the package yet. Thanks.
Yes, mine says will be delivered tomm 9/29/20 by UPS. My package is going to be delivered by UPS, not USPS.
Although, I have no need for this package, as I got my replacement sims in store, activated and ported already.

My temp numbers were activated before sim card arrived(4 days).

And first bill came out so quickly, for $140

It seems like no hookup discount for me for the first month.

thank you. I called to port in
CSR told me to wait 24 hours.
It should be instant. Already waited one hour. I ported from Xfinity mobile
Do you have to call xfinity mobile and let them know you're porting out?

It's been repeated here many times. Message them on Facebook Messenger tell them the issue. They will be able to sign you up that way.
I first messaged "TMobile T-Force" on Facebook over 48 hours ago. They have not answered and I don't think that they have added me as a friend yet either. Is that the right one to message? Any tips on getting them to answer?

I called tmobile care, and asked nicely if they will allow me to pickup 4 sims in store instead of waiting for the ground package which might take 5 days.
The rep spoke to a nearby store and the store ok'ed 4 sims at no charge. got the 4 sims today from the store, will do porting tomm.

Yes, SIM cards don't have to stay in the BYOD device, and you can use the BYOD device on another line or on another carrier. Not sure about others, but my SIM cards came pre-activated, ready to use. I made test calls to make sure they are active and then threw them under the pillows and now waiting patiently for the rebates.
can anyone explain why there is so much stress around SIM cards arriving on time for this $250 rebate? its been mentioned in the wiki and many posts stating "when SIMs arrive..." ive been reading through this thread. still reading. i dont get it. dont you buy a SIM online, get a number, port to replace that number and fill out the rebate. no?

is there some kind of activation via device requirement before submitting the rebate?

I don't know how the system works. I was worried but pleasantly surprised to see 2 lines free on my. Seeing $120 for 4 lines. Placed order on 9/23 arrived on 9/25 but didn't port in until today. No idea what qualifies vs not.

I did get a call from someone after placing the order to verify everything with the order. Did you get a call? Not sure if that's the difference

What do I need to do if I didn't receive the confirmation text message for inside hookup 20% off in 24 hours?
Should I be worried? Tracking status shows received.

In the wiki, you are quoted as saying that
"Sprint customer are not eligible to port in through online. It will require store visit but success from store is highly YMMV."

I don't see any reports of successes or failures in this thread. Maybe you have some additional information. If so, can you tell me if the odds are more like 5% or more like 40% (or any kind of estimate that you can give would be great)?
Already I reported my success story from the store visit in this thread. I opened new T-M account after removed my social from Sprint account by tech support over the call with store rep. If you closed accounts with more than 45 days, visit the T-M store and ask the rep to create new account by removing your social from old S account. If you like to open Sprint account, another route is get the new lines by purchasing device from retail store like Best Buy, Walmart and etc and port in 4 numbers AT&T to S new account for 4*$250 VGC.

Store visit success rate is around 60%.

no need to call them unless you face any problem with generating port-out pin yourself.
