Last time I got a fake pair even though Amazon was the seller. It may be worth a little more to buy from a legit retailer and save some hassle.

The color was off on one of them (it was sort of yellowish) and it wouldn't do transparency/NC modes. Also the serial showed up with Apple as already having Applecare+ as of 6 months prior even though it came sealed in the box. It was just weird overall. I returned it to Amazon and bought it at Sam's when they had it for $220. I think I remember Staples had it for $199 too but I already had the Sam's one.

Something else is going on. I speak to many people who use Airpods and Airpod pros. Universally the mic is fantastic on both models. The mic is a big reason I ultimately got a set as they are the best all around wireless earbuds (not the best at anything, but they are good at everything).

Haven't read done much further but I'm sure people and stating how bad of idea this is right now. The fake market for these is explosive. Newest fakes have real serial numbers and show up in settings. Only way to tell is to connect to the iCloud and see if it fast switches or seen by other iOS devices. This guy is a reminder that slickdeals comments don't always guide you in the right direction. Wink wink wink.... enjoy your fake AirPods.

Yeah I don't care enough about my earphones to pay this much. I only ever occasionally need handsfree for listening to podcasts. Otherwise videocalls are done on the laptop w/the built in cam/mic/speakers. The $26 urlhasbeenblocked earphones I bought in 2015 still work perfectly for podcasts.

Nice, I assume this would be the price in store as well? My nearest Best Buy is OOS so I can't PM amazon, but walmart is just as close. Otherwise I could drive a little further to the next BBY. Rather not buy on amazon due to the fake airpod stuff.

*edit* It looks like in-store will pm walmart.com anyway so I can do that as well.

Personally I wouldn't wait for BF 💩 online deal it's waste of time and energy I tried the 108$ one few days back that Walmart advertised as 7 PM online deal it's 30 of agony keep re trying there gimmicks , anyways I bought one for my spouse first time staples advertised for 199$ hands down best mic feature for conference calls gr8 use in Covid time , I ordered myself one which got delivered this morning from Amazon u can stack up either 5% Cashback @ Walmart or via PayPal chase freedom category or load 2 gift cards with AMEx only if u have Amex offer on ur card (10$ off 100 2 time use on Amazon ) I ordered from Amazon
